I did not apply any lightener or toner in this process. It was just a root melt and a few lowlight foils.

Goals:

Cover the ashy/light blonde highlights. (There were a lot of blonde foils previously done that were not toned)
Soften and blend.
Add dimension to break up the blonde.

Facts! All hair has warm undertones and will fade over time to a warm tone! To maintain your cool ice queen main, I have some tips below! 👇🏼

1) schedule a maintenance toning appointment between your blonding services.

2) Use a purple/blue shampoo once a week or every other week to keep your tone for fading. Use the shampoo as instructed or it may not give the results you want. I would recommend asking your stylist what they would recommend for a purple/blue shampoo.

3) Installing a water filter on your shower head can help prevent hard water build up on your hair. Hard water has unwanted minerals and chemicals that can cause damage for your hair and can cause toner to fade quicker than it normally should!

Sometimes you try something new and you realize you just want to be really blonde! 🍦

This is my friend/client and we tried something different at your appointment two weeks ago than the usual heavy foil.. we kept some spacing between her foils to give more of a natural look and have some depth with her natural brown shooting in between. After a week she realized this was not for her and she wants to do more foils to achieve an overall more blonde look. The first two pictures are now and last two are from two weeks ago. Sometimes, we try something out and it’s okay if it’s not for us. I’m grateful to have friends or clients who have open communication about their hair and what they want to achieve! This morning we popped some foils up ton and a couple on the sides and I tweaked her toner to add a little more brightness. 😌☀️👏🏼💕
