The hero of South Africa.

Some may not of heard of the BMW 333i, but it was South Africa’s answer to the E30 M3 that was unfortunately never officially sold there.
This sparked something in those purist BMW fans and lead them to create something truly special to SA.

Built in 1985, it started out in life as the 325i but received the 3.2 litre m30b32 engine from bigger cars like the 533i, 633csi, and the 733i.

It made 194hp courtesy of an upgraded bosch l-jetronic fuel management system. The 333i had inlet and exhaust manifolds tweaked by alpina and several cast alloy components.

our good friend came by with his grey market 5 speed 735i for some maintenance and upgrades. we added:

Component speakers front to back with 4 channel amp
Apple carplay headunit with back up camera
New center support + flex disc
New clutch + lightweight flywheel

always a pleasure working on this car. we also have a few more upgrades planned in the future, with a big power increase coming shortly after. stay tuned 😎

progress update on the Japanese market 323i. so far we’ve:

shaved engine bay of all useless brackets in preparation for paint
welded shut unnecessary or extra holes
tucked front passenger brake line so it won’t be seen in engine bay
reconditioning fusebox harness and updating connectors

next is rewiring the rear battery relocation and sorting out lighting

some results from testing the new v***r honing cabinet. if anyone needs anything small v***rhoned, contact us today. zinc plating will be available soon.

2024 Land Rover Defender 130 came in to get roof lights, grill light bar and snorkel all installed. Lights are operated via remote. Owner is getting ready take this off road in kentucky, what they were made for 💪🏾

this 2.5L m20 spun a bearing so it’s getting fully rebuilt. is off to machine shop for some work then it’ll be rebuilt as a 2.9L stroker for an imported e21 323i 😎

The 2024 Ruf Tribute Celebrates Air-Cooled Engines With a Bespoke Motor

haven’t made a post since before the end of last year because things have been so hectic but the work hasn’t stopped! getting close to wrapping up the diesel wagon. in the time it’s sat it’s been 6 speed swapped, received a new headgasket, upgraded turbo, fully deleted and matching remap of the ecu.

Finished this lovely ‘92 325i. The customer brought it in for an engine swap and a few upgrades including coilovers, steering rack upgrade and a few other goodies. Contact us for all your classic BMW needs, but we also service newer BMWs. Located in Naples, Fl, appointments only.

A Local shop did an engine swap on this 2008 BMW 328i and routed the AC Compressor hose right into the power steering pump pulley, cutting into the hose and leaking out all the freon. Keep up the good work 👍🏾

pulled this exhaust off a car we’re swapping…this was done at an exhaust shop in fort myers. some people really don’t care about their work.

haven’t posted much about this since there’s still much to do but we got an early start on the turbo S-Class. still have to sort out the rest of the plumbing but little by little it’s getting there. stay tuned for more 😎
