Summer is in full swing, and it’s bringing the heat and humidity! While your lawn has enjoyed some rain over the past few weeks, it may still be showing some stress. Why?

Most of the grasses in our area are considered “cool season” grasses. That means that they look the best during cooler parts of the growing season, particularly the spring and early fall. You know how important watering is for your lawn (1-1.5 inches per week are needed), but hot weather can also stress out your turf. When the cool season grass meets hot weather you may see some signs of stress. Your lawn care tech will automatically adjust applications to account for warmer weather.

This taller, lighter green w**d must be treated with w**d control for it to disappear. This, too, will be treated at the time of your application.
