Hello everyone! I've been busy preparing items for the holiday and these are some things I have on hand. I'm currently in Nashville doing the flea market and can meet if someone in Nashville wants anything. Otherwise, I'll be back in W. TN on Tuesday and can do porch pick-up/drop-off or will be willing to meet.

Happy hump day everyone!! After having a conversation with my beautiful mother, I just wanted to remind everyone (as well as myself) that the darkest hour is just before day! Don't give in...don't give up! God's deliverance is on the way! We may feel forgotten about or feel that He doesn't hear us, but He's always present! He's always near! AND most importantly, He cares for the brokenhearted! (Psalms 34:18)

Cast all your cares and anxiety on Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Messed up yesterday? That’s ok. God is in our yesterday cleaning up the messes we made.
Got problems today? That’s ok. God is and has already been working those out.
Worried about tomorrow? No need. God is already there…working on that too. All we need to do is trust Him, put one foot in front of the other and keep moving.
I’m glad to know we serve the God of yesterday, the God of today and the God of tomorrow.

When depressed, there are feelings of sadness, unhappiness, gloominess, miserableness, and weakness. All these words describe DEPRESSION! Having this feeling, rejecting the presence of a loved one for comfort and support is not the answer. Though being alone may feel like the obvious answer, especially when the feeling is that NO ONE CARES, this couldn’t be farthest from the truth. Do NOT underestimate the power of God; let Him dwell in your heart. Deuteronomy 31:8 states: "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. As many of you know, the purpose of God'z Jewelz is to try and reach those who may be dealing with or suffering from depression. The goal is to hopefully uplift someone's spirit as well as give them hope. I reached out to a few people to see if they would be willing from time to time to submit posts and they all graciously accepted. The following is a message of encouragement from the minister at Jackson St. Church of Christ...Bro. Christopher Jackson. I hope this blesses someone!

You’ve felt this way before, and if not, you know of someone who has. The feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. Not just feeling sad for a few days, but maybe a few months, could I dare say, even a few years. Depression can affect any person no matter their background, educational level or socioeconomic status. Many people suffer from depression even though they are married, in school, or even at work. In a few brief sentences, I would love to give some encouragement and advice to those suffering from depression.

1. Get help. There is nothing wrong in admitting that I’m not okay and I need help. If you were continually having chest pains, you would eventually go to the ER, I hope. Since we see the importance of going to the ER when something is seriously wrong, should we not show just as much care and concern when something is going on in our minds? My Primary Care doctor recently told me, "No one ever thanks him for improving their health, but they always thank him for improving their mood"!! Let that resonate!!

2. Some of God’s greatest servants were so depressed that they wanted to die...Job, Elijah, and Moses. Nevertheless, they made it through their season of depression by trusting God, prayer, and dialogue with God. The same remedies that helped bring them through can do the same for us. Pour your heart out to Him, let Him talk to you through His WORD, and most all know that God is more than able to bring you through any difficulty; even if the problem is something internal like depression.

God loves you! God loves me! We are all His most precious jewels!

God woke you up this morning. He has a plan! You have a purpose! Be a blessing and love someone!

What To Do When You're Going Through Tough Times...

PRAY...PRAY...AND PRAY SOME MORE! I can't stress this enough and I'm only speaking for myself. Sometimes the harder things become, the harder prayer becomes. Why is this?? That's why I love the old saying...when it seems the hardest to pray, that's when we should pray the hardest. God is present, He's near and He wants to hear from us.

Never forget you're not alone. Whatever it is you're going through or dealing with, find someone to talk to. Friends, family, teachers, counselors...don't go through it alone. It's a trick of the enemy to make you feel like you're the only one in the world with your issue.

Troubles don't last always! Never forget...God loves you! God loves me! We're are His jewelz!!

Here are a few items I have so far. Some images are my creations and some I put my own spin to. I find inspiration from others as well. :-)

You ever felt so alone that you can't help but to wonder if you belong here? What's my purpose you may ask? Why does it look as if the world is going about daily life while you're stuck in limbo? YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Not too long ago, I found myself in one of the deepest, darkest places in life. What do I do? How do I find my way out? Depression is real, but so is God's love for us! I love to write and so I started journaling my thoughts, feelings, prayers, etc. While reading one of my daily Bible plans, I came across the scripture that we go through things in life to be able to share with others the same comfort that Christ comforted us with...(2 Corinthians 1:4). I just want to share with others who may be experiencing difficulties in life to not give up AND this is a constant reminder for myself as well. From time to time, I will post (hopefully inspirational) thoughts/messages on my page.

That idea morphed into something bigger and I decided to start my own printing business (God'z Jewelz). Whether it's something serious, religious or humorous, I hope I can bring you joy in the items I make. But more importantly, I just want to inspire someone to not to give in and not to give up. God is present, He's listening and He cares. We're His most precious jewels!
