The best excursions are the ones that are small groups and relaxing or adventurous. Just like this one, this group size was around 10 spread out on a massive catamaran; it was a perfect size.

Booking through the cruise line might have its perks, like if you’re late to your ship, they will wait for you. If you book through a resort, there may be additional discounts available to you.

We got lucky as we booked this through the cruise line. I was worried we would have a massive group like you usually would, but we got a great one. We all talked about other cruises we had been on and about visiting different countries. You don’t get that on some excursions.

For the transpacific cruise we are currently on, we booked the majority through a third-party company, and these are the ones I recommend:

The best time to get a photo on Sydney Skyline is at night and on top of a cruise ship. You get a different angle that you can't get anywhere else.
