Has anyone dealt with Etsy finance? I need help. Any advice?
Three weeks ago I had a sale on Etsy. When my funds didn’t show up in my bank account I checked the finance tab of my Etsy account and it said I needed to update my bank info.
Which I then did. The funds still where not deposited. ( they are scheduled for every day deposit).
When I called again they said they were waiting for the deposit of $.01 to verify my bank info and then the deposit would be made. Now this is the same bank account that Etsy has been using for the last three years.
So now comes August 8th I receive an email saying the funds $545. We’re deposited in my account. Yay.
But NO. Later that day I get an email saying my account could not be confirmed and my money could not be transferred.
I called Etsy back ( the money is gone from my Etsy finance account).
And they said they don’t know where the money is and if it got transferred into someone else’s account hopefully they will be honest and return it.
No one at Etsy will tell me how to get my money back.
The finance people I’m told will only respond with email. ( within two business days) but you guessed it. They have not responded, even though I keep sending emails to the only email address they will give me. I have spoken to supervisors and would love to share the recordings of the phone calls should you want to listen.
