Photographer Kendall Mathes caught a great shot of me and my brother in law Lee Cash doing an acoustic set at the Hyperion in Greenville 10 years or so ago. We did a few shows and introduced writers like Dan Deel, Ur S Man Sam Reeves, and the Doesn't Matter band fronted by Russell Jackson.

My co-writer crew. We put a bunch of great songs together that are still making the rounds. Mike, Glyn, Mark, and me. This was a huge Country Fried Music writers night at Hotel Indigo Nashville. We had the whole night, celebrated my birthday, and partied like we were teenagers again. One of my best memories.

The reason I came back to Nashville after a 2 year hiatus was to play acoustic for the great Michael David. This was a Harlow Salon writers night at Tin Roof in downtown Nashville about 12 years ago.
