👩🏻 🍄🌼Its International Women’s Day y’all! As a strong woman myself and the proud owner of this small shop, I thought I’d dedicate an entire post explaining how this shop got its name! Merry Modesty is a spin off from one of my favorite things to collect. You guessed it, the Sears Merry Mushroom collection🍄✨ the second half of the name is actually my middle name! Modesty. Yes, it is my real middle name. My parents named me after another strong woman. My beautiful grandmother, Modesta🧡🌼 I’ve got such a strong connection with my grandmother despite the fact that I’ve never met her. My other obsession definitely came from her! Owls. I LOVE OWLS 🦉 My grandma was an owl fanatic. That’s what people remember her for. A love I have had my whole life.
Thus, Merry Modesty was born🍄🌼
