New Haven American Legion - Hamlin-Weldin Post # 1532

Work detail day, at our new post at 3 Mack Road Oswego, NY, if anyone would like to help. Some of us are heading to Remsen, for kitchen stuff we bought from a restaurant!

Calling all the veterans in their family in Oswego County Thursday July 11th 5:00 to 8:00 American Legion in the pavilion Central Square American Legion is proud to partner with Clearpath for veterans! We are hosting a mobile canteen -which is a free dinner of fried chicken green beans mac and cheese mixed berry cobbler and cornbread too. Please come and join-- us all veterans (or active duty) and their family are welcome. WE want a big turnout so we can continue to co-host these at our post.

This Mobile Canteen is available to all Veterans and their families, in Oswego County! Awesome thing that Central Square American Legion Post #915 is doing. Partnering up with Clear Path For Veterans! If you have free time this evening, please stop by their post!

The SAL and Legion Meetings are still on for Wednesday, July 3rd. SAL at 6:00 p.m. and Legion at 7:00 p.m. Auxiliary Meeting also at 7:00 p.m.

Due to the lack of orders for the red t-shirts, we'll have to discuss getting them another time. This order is cancelled.

Another job done! Thank you to our Post Commander, Garry Visconti, for using his tractor to dig for the electrical line for our new power box and for our sign! Thank you to all that helped!

Our maple tree is down! Our post is at 3 Mack Road Oswego, NY 13126. The wood is free for the taking! You just have to cut it up and haul it yourself. Please contact a member with the post, if you're interested. Thank you to Crouse Tree Service and Woodsman Tree Service, for donating their time to move us forward with future plans!

These two brave men are who our post is named after. Both WWI, both Privates, and both KIA. Proud that our Town Historian had pictures of them!

New Haven American Legion Post #1532 members, please wear your polos and covers that go with your part of the organization for Monday. Legion members- white polo shirt, black pants, Legion cover, Auxiliary-red polo shirt, and SAL-light blue polo with SAL cover. 1:00 p.m. line up; 2:00 p.m. start of parade. Starting point is the elementary school.

All New Haven Post #1532 members, we're meeting up at the post on 104 tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:00 p.m. to put the signs on the golf carts and set up the stage for Mon.

Along with our parade signs, we have one for New Haven Building Supply, where we have been getting most of our building materials. Thank you to Tim Searles and his team, for their continued support!

Thank you to our Post Commander Garry Visconti, 2nd Vice Commander John Badger, and Post Adjutant Gene Storms, for representing all of us at The JROTC awards ceremony Wednesday afternoon! Congratulations to all!

Our next shirt order! The shirt on the left is just for veterans. Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large is $10.00. 2X is $14.00. 3X, 4X, and 5X are $15.00. Money for that one is due May 9th. The shirt on the right is for any member. Same prices as the other shirt. Money for that shirt is due May 30th!

Please come support our dinner this Saturday! Eat in or take out! We're going to have some raffles also!

Come up and buy a pork loin dinner to support SAL on May 4th from 1-4 pm.
