Congrats to Connecticut’s new Kid Governor Cristiano Almeida!
I was honored to emcee his inauguration ceremoy on Friday afternoon. Cristiano’s campaign platform includes helping CT students get more active!
Outgoing Kid Governor Ellie Mendez was also honored for her excellent work in 2023.
Congrats to all of the kids who are involved in the program. They are doing great work!

This morning police continue blocking off roads in some areas of Lewiston, Maine.
Right now more than 350 investigators are searching for Robert Card, who police say murdered 18 people in the worst mass shooting in New England since Sandy Hook.
We have six journalists in Lewiston right now including Dylan Fearon TV & Bryant Reed and we will have the latest LIVE coverage throughout the day on WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News.

BREAKING: We are tracking a horrible developing story in Hartford this morning.
One police officer was killed in the line of duty and another was rushed to the hospital after a crash. We also know one suspect is in police custody right now.
We’ll share more information with you as we learn it on WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News and on the Channel 3 app.
BREAKING: Firefighters from multiple departments have confirmed they are battling a large fire at the Submarine Base in Groton.
We have a crew on the way to the scene but we know at least two buildings are on fire and at least 10 fire departments have responded so far.
