I’ve been so lucky to work with some incredible people, on and off stage throughout the years. The classroom is also an important place for me. 🏫

Cassie was one of the first people I met when I first started teaching. She was a kind soul, and the kids immediately flocked to her. It was heartbreaking to hear of her passing in June 2021, but her spirit will live on through what will hopefully become an annual thing. ❤️‍🩹

As someone who worked in the New London Public Schools system for years, Cassie believed in building community. More importantly, she believed in the potential of the youth of New London. She spent her life giving to the youth of the city, and the Cassie Falvey Memorial Scholarship aims to continue extending the opportunity she wanted for all her students. The scholarship is presented by family and friends of Cassie Falvey and awarded to an English Learner who is looking to continue their education at a college or university in the Fall. 🎓

We hope to see you at The Social Bar + Kitchen in New London on Saturday, January 13 for this great event. ❤️

Thankful for every single one of you, for you have made JSB what it is today. ❤️ 🎶
