Quick tune and l**e on the reel, installed on the snapper rod, and test pulled against the truck tow hitch.... it's ready for a water test to rip some lips.

Finished up the snapper rod prototype, gonna do some testing on it this upcoming weekend, then it may go up for sale at a reduced cost.

Finished up another repair on a crushed tip and guide.

Had the pleasure of being brought someone else's Franko build and asked to make it right. After stripping this rod down to the bare blank, massaging some of the parts that he wanted to keep, and adding a whole lotta quality parts, decorative thread work, and setting up the guide spacing to ensure peak performance, I can now call this a RoBro Rod! I appreciate the business Brock Daigle, hope you enjoy your new LSU color themed rod like it should be enjoyed now.

Just finished up a couple rod repairs and a reel service/l**e. Customer had a couple guides broken on one rod and the other rod had a section of rod broken off of the tip. Re-spaced, static tested, re wrapped multiple guides and filled voids in the cork handle to get it back to peak performance. Thank you for the business Chip Scoggin!

Had a customer drop off some old reels that have been sitting up in storage for a while. Stripped them down, cleaned up all the old dirt and grease, re-l**ed and spooled them up with some line for test casts... These are ready to get back to work catching fish!

Finally had some time to finish up the last of the set of 4 fire pit roasting skewers.

Had a chance to fish with a customer and noticed one of the guides on his custom built rod (not by me), had a broken ceramic insert that he was un aware of. He gave the whole set up to me after the trip and said "make it right". I gave him the RoBro rods treatment and gave him a reel cleaning/service and touch ups on all guide finish on the house while waiting for the new rod guide to arrive. Hoping he will enjoy his rod again and maybe request a RoBro custom in the future.

This 6'8" Shimano repair was in a really bad spot but the customer wanted to have it as a back up/spare rod, so I was able to splice it back together with a piece in The I.D. As well as a sleeve over the O.D. Of the break. I also re-spaced a couple of guides due to the break and added a Lil trim band to match the theme. While I was at it, I went ahead and filled in all of the gaps in the cork grips too.
Load tested and ready to rip some lip again!!

Had one of my good repeat customers bring me two production rods to repair that were broken. This is the first one, tip broken off, lost 2" on this 7' Fenwick but I gave him the return customer treatment and stripped all of the guides and re spaced them out and re-wrapped with matching graphite Grey thread with some metalic sapphire accent bands. This one is ready to hit the water again!

Another happy customer.... I was brought this 7' lite-fast action spinning rod that was previously repaired but did not hold. He explained it was his favorite sacalait rod and wanted to see if I could fix it... Well, I was able to splice a section in the ID as well as a sleeve on the OD of the rod to make sure it would hold being it was in the backbone. I also cleaned up, refilled and sealed his cork grips while I was at it for him. I really don't think it changed any action at all. This one is ready to haul some slabs over the gunnel once again.

Part 2 of the G-loomis flipping stick.

Finished dimensions @7' 4-1/2" long after trimming back the rear grip. This rod has a snowflake design that now pops over the gloss graphite background. It is truly a delight to cast with the low profile fuji SiC guides.
