Good morning friends and family. I know I have been out of touch for a while. I was taking care of my Mother who passed away two weeks ago. I needed to put my wreath business on the back burner. I did make some new Christmas wreaths but will be unable to participate in any craft shows. My loss is your gain! I will be posting a wreath or swag in the next day or two. I will be raffling them off for $ .50 a chance and once the spots are filled, I will ask for everyone to send their money through Venmo. Once all funds are received, I will spin the wheel for the winner. Please keep in mind, I will not be able to ship. This is for my local customers or someone who has family in my area. Stay tuned!

Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to give you a quick update on my life. My mother has been dealing with some health issues, and I have had the honor of caring for her full-time. While it has been a challenge, it has also been a blessing to be able to care for her and witness her strength firsthand. In addition to my caregiving duties, I have also been able to continue pursuing my love of crafting, and I am excited to announce that I have ordered some beautiful holiday signs to prepare for upcoming craft shows! There will be art, crafts and plants available for purchase up and down Huey P. Long Avenue! This event will be in conjunction with the Gretna Farmers Market, Art Walk and German-American Cultural Beer Garden. Find that perfect last minute gift for Mom and shop early for Dad. I had a private class for my friend Connie who just had her last chemo treatment on Friday! Connie wanted you to do the bunny Kraft but could not be around a lot of people. Today is also Connie’s birthday. Let’s send Connie some love on her bunny and birthday! Isn’t it just too adorable? Hope you had a great birthday Connie!

I started working on some spring creations for Academy of our Lady Spring craft show on the 13th of April. These measure around 17 inches in diameter. These are perfect for assisted living doors, dorm rooms, work cubicles or that one little spot in your home that needs just a touch of decor. I will have my regular collection of swags and wreaths as well, so mark your calendars and come on out and see me at the AOL Spring Craft Fair. This will be an indoor event. I will post reminders as it gets closer.

Sorry I have been missing in action. My mother has been in the hospital with a kidney infection/sepsis. Hopefully we will be going home tomorrow or the next day.
