Storyline:
Two slaves are transported from New Orleans in 1836 to a Louisiana HBCU in 2020. How will they survive?

Role:

(ALMA) 23 to 26 years old. Black, African. A slave all of his life, he is unable to read, unlearned with a keen sense of logic. It is difficult for him to adjust to a world where he can look into the eyes of white people, travel by air, and see a black man as a leader of the country. He enjoys his freedom but is uncomfortable in Divine. Freedom is nothing like his Bamama talked about. Being free in a world of freedom, but still imprisoned by his black skin. He has no desire to ever be told what to do again. He is overprotective of those he cares about. (LEAD ROLE)
