🪧Created for Lesli Harris' successful campaign for New Orleans City Council District B.
Here's how it happened:
When DJ Mannie Fresh, the venerated New Orleans hip hop producer best known for his work with Cash Money Records--arrived to the candidate's home on the day of our shoot, I told him, "Mannie, I've got a terrible idea..." He smirked. "What if we open the video with you limping down the street? And after a few steps of you limping, you turn to the camera and say, '...I just stepped in another mother****in' pothole! New Orleans, I'm sick of this!"
He was already smiling. He was in.
He then added his own idea, suggesting we head to a recording studio and record a classic Mannie Fresh intro (a la "Bring It Back ft. Lil Wayne), complete with the usual "Ladies, Gentlemen, cats, dogs;" and with the added shoutouts to the issues the city was facing at the time.
We combined the two ideas and came out with a video that made major waves in the district and the city, at large.
By the end of the campaign it had amassed over 150,000 views.
Lesli Harris went on to win the election against her incumbent opponent and currently serves as the Councilmember for New Orleans' District B.

Great Sunday morning shoot with Plaquemines Parish President, Kirk Lepine, during Keep Louisiana Beautiful's Week. President Lepine truly cares for his parish, and we were thrilled to help capture that in this video.
It's been a real privilege to work with YES for NOLA Kids over the past several weeks. Together, we've produced 5 videos including this one.

Throwback to the first video I ever had the pleasure of creating for 's campaign in 2021.
This video was made before ever joining the campaign. I sent it over to Troy and his staff in hopes of catching their eye, and fortunately, they liked it enough to bring me on. By the end of the race, we'd created over 45 pieces of original video content.
Troy Carter is one of the most honest and good-hearted candidates I've had the pleasure of working with.

We had the pleasure of creating two new logo designs in the past few weeks. Both of these candidates are running for office in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana

The LaToya Cantrell team had long wanted to create a piece of video content that embraced the Mayor’s often-used metaphor of “kicking the can down the road.” Used as a way to communicate the failings of previous administrations in tackling major issues in New Orleans, the metaphor worked perfect for video.
We created this piece as part of the Mayor’s re-election campaign in 2021. It ran on social media and on television as a 30-second commercial.
LaToya Cantrell’s bid for re-election was successful and she will serve as Mayor of New Orleans until the year 2025.
