•Pray for Louisiana•

It has been little over a week since Hurricane Ida slammed the Gulf Coast in Louisiana.

While my family stayed and sheltered in place, we are thankful for those that were able to evacuate. This storm alone has caused so much devastation to region that really is just bouncing back from Hurricane Katrina; 16 years ago to the day.

Our struggle isn’t over with just the storm passing through. The infrastructure of Louisiana is certainly damaged from Wires and trees down every where to the city being without electricity for what could be an extended period of time.

We are still open and processing orders from a safe location in Atlanta!

Hi everyone, I’m Hershel and the founder of The Duchess Hair Co. A lot of people want to know why I started to wear wigs and why I started my business.

Well, let’s start with why I wear wigs. It honestly started during a very hard and stressful period in my life about 4 years ago. Due to the severe amount of stress I had myself under, I noticed I started to lose patches of hair.
One of my biggest personal fears was happening. It turns out I developed a mild case of patterned baldness caused by alopecia areata - destroying my self esteem and everything I had worked hard growing and grooming over the years.

I knew by this point, wigs were an option for me! After wearing different styles of wigs for costumes and Comicon, I knew finding an amazing wig at amazing price for every day was going to be pricey!

So I spent time figuring out what makes the best wigs the best and how wearing them could help restore my hair and bring my confidence back from the ashes.

Now, I knew once I had learned what makes hair extensions and wigs worthwhile I wanted to share it with everyone. My wigs are all top quality and for a great affordable rate.
