Everknow started in November of 2020 (!) as an idea that I started to develop while in quarantine. I was inspired by the textures in the music of @onplanets, and so I was looking to recreate that. After coming up with a draft I like, I sent the song to Sari, and friend of mine who’s voice and songwriting I really admire. I was thrilled she wanted to collab, and once things were safer, we recorded in April of 2021. But things get busy, computers fail again and again (and again). But finally, we got into @sundripstudio and were able to finalize our mix! We got it mastered, did some artwork, and sent it in for distribution only 6 weeks ago. It was such a joy bringing this song to life with Sari because the message of Everknow resonated as strongly with me when I first heard the demo as it does today. Hope y’all enjoy the track!
