BIG NEWS! It’s a bittersweet announcement for our team, but we can’t wait for what’s ahead. Last night, we closed shop at Saint John on Decatur Street. Although we’ll be closed for the summer, we have exciting plans to reopen in a NEW location in a few months! We met with our staff today and will be paying them for the next few weeks with hopes of reuniting again in the fall. We can’t share the full details yet, but what we can share is this. For us, this transition is our chance to let Saint John shine. It’s our dream and it’s really happening. 🤘🏻
To our loyal customers, friends and family – can’t thank you enough for the happy hours, brunches (and drag brunches!) and dinners you shared with us. We’ve had some awesome times…along with some really difficult times operating a restaurant in the French Quarter. But we LOVE this restaurant, we believe in this concept, and we wouldn’t take closing forever for an answer. We can’t WAIT to share the news of our new location with you – Saint John is going to become what we’ve always envisioned…just what it’s supposed to be.
For now, we’re saying goodbye. But don’t worry…what’s next is going to be GREAT.
