Thank you, Cassandra for all of your work to make this possible! We look forward to many more opportunities to collaborate across the nation!

Another great year of Play/Write in St. Bernard!
5th-grade playwrights in St. Bernard see their works performed by local pros Aliens, penguins, dancing storms, and famed TV art instructor Bob Rossâ relentless quest for chicken nuggets were a few of the zany elements in the recent Goat in the Road
Have you heard?!
We are so proud and honored to announce that we have received a New England Foundation for the Arts National Theater Grant for Carlota!
The National Theater Project (NTP) promotes the development and touring of artist-led, ensemble, and devised theater works. We are so elated to have been chosen for this grant and to be able to tell the story of Carlota!
Carlota is a new musical that will explore the life and descendents of Carlota RuĂz de GonzĂĄlez. The character is a historical composite created by Dr. Denise Frazier in 2018 as part of Goat in the Roadâs immersive show, The Stranger Disease, and re-visited in the digital project, Sick Note: Letters from the Epidemic. Now, the company is creating a full musical experience based around Frazierâs work. The show will jump through generations, charting the way trauma and joy are passed down from one descendent to the next. Carlota is the story of how one personâs story can ripple down through time, lapping against our bodies and whispering to us.
Thank you to for this prestigious honor and to all who support The Goats!

Over the past 15 Years, we have proudly created novel works for your inspiration and enjoyment! Please support our campaign to help us continue to expand our reach in telling impactful stories that last⌠like NUMB.
âWith each playing more than one character, their work in using their voices and bodies to not only create human portraits but a time period as well is striking. In particular, their vocal work captures a rhythm that seems of another world⌠[Numb] lingers in the system long after the company has taken its final bow.â
