I remember back in college when my friends and I would do things a panic juice cleanse or I would feel like I need to go on a extremely long run thanksgiving day. Now, I have a much more balanced approach to nutrition and know that a day or two over overeating it’s not a big deal in the grande scheme of things.

It’s totally normally to overeat sometimes or indulge more with friends or family. Whether it was a day, a meal or a weekend, don’t beat yourself up over it. We’re human, and it’s perfectly normal to enjoy yourself! The worst thing you can do is adopt a “disinterested” mentality and throw all your work out the window for the rest the week or month!
Second step is to get back to your normal healthy eating and workout routine! No need to do endless amounts of cardio or a juice cleanse to “make up for it”. Rather, be kind to your body, fuel it and approach yourself with love. I promise you a day or weekend of indulgence isn’t a big deal!

I would never lie to you and tell you getting healthy and changing your habits is easy. It takes a lot of work, persistence and patience, BUT I will tell you it is totally worth how amazing you are going to feel!
While it may not easy, I will share some winning strategies that will make it easier 😁 Just know you can totally do this and to take it one step at a time.

1 - Try to pick one area to improve at a time
2 - Learn to say no: If you’re changing your habits, there will be temptation surrounding you. There will be office birthday parties, holidays, outings, etc constantly and it’s important you say no to the things you don’t want or things that don’t help you along your journey.
3 - Pick a big WHY: If the reason you want to get healthy is only to weigh a few pounds less, it will most likely not be strong enough to stick to. Reasons like feeling your best so you can perform better on your job or having more energy for the kids are much stronger reasons.
4 - Be kind to yourself, forgiving, and patient! The process takes time and it’s all about finding the right balance for you.

What you’ll need for the avocado cilantro: ⠀
-2 small avocados⠀
-2 lemons, juiced⠀
-1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk⠀
-1/2 cup water ⠀
-1/4 cup cilantro⠀
-1 tsp grated ginger⠀
-1.5 tsp garlic powder⠀
-salt to taste⠀

What you’ll need for the peanut Thai: ⠀
-1/2 cup creamy peanut butter⠀
-1/4 cup coconut aminos⠀
-1 lime, juiced⠀
-1 tbsp honey⠀
-1 tsp minced garlic⠀

-2 tbsp rice vinegar⠀
-1 tbsp sesame oil⠀

What you’ll need for the strawberry vinaigrette: ⠀
-1 cup strawberries sliced⠀

-1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar⠀

What you’ll need for the honey mustard: ⠀
-1 Tbsp olive oil⠀
-1/2 lemon, juiced⠀
-1 tsp apple cider vinegar⠀

1- Combine all ingredients in a blender. ⠀

INGREDIENTS
Strawberry
2 ½ cups quartered strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
Pinch of salt
*Mango
2 ¼ cups chopped mango
¼ cup orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
Pinch of salt
*Kiwi
2 ¼ cups chopped kiwi
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
Pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add the fruit, juice, honey, and salt to a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Divide the fruit puree between four (4-ounce) popsicle molds and cap with the tops of the molds. Freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.
3. To unmold, run the bottoms of the popsicle molds under hot water for about 5 seconds, then pull out the popsicles.
