This SRT has seen better days!

• This Jeep SRT8 Came in as a no start and if you swipe swipe, you’ll see why.
• This can happen when the engine loses timing and a valve hits the piston causing the engine to lockup in its tracks. Since this unit had higher miles it was best to pull it for a rebuild instead of replacing the failed components.

• An Engine is just one big air pump that uses a combustion process to help propel the vehicle. Internally it is lubricated by engine oil that is usually under constant contact with each other. The worst you can do is go over your extended oil change intervals because things like this can happen. Oil that has lost its lubricating attributes and causes metal to metal grinding of components.

• This X5 was brought in because the vehicle owner had few concerns that he needed us to remedy.
• He had an oil leak, some charging issues and needed a boost if he let the vehicle sit overnight. We noticed a new battery and verified that it wasn’t faulty by performing various battery testing procedures. Upon scanning the vehicle we noticed that it wasn’t registered to the vehicle which is a must when replacing a battery on these vehicles. These vehicles store “behaviors” or what we call adaptations in the automotive world and if a vehicle had a bad battery in the past, it will follow certain protocols until a new battery is registered.
• Upon further inspection we found that the valve cover and oil cooler seals reached the end of their service life and needed replacing.
• When the vehicle was left overnight after the repairs were assumed to be completed, it wouldn’t start up without a boost. After fully charging the battery, and performing a parasitic draw test we noticed the vehicle pulling more amps than spec when asleep. After further inspection we found that the water pump circuit had a short to power causing the electronic water pump to stay running all night until the battery was completely drained. This was caused by Master Splinter and the rat pack 🐀🐁chewing up the engine harness. We reached out to and they helped us get a claim started and once approved we got the vehicle repaired and on its way.

Monday’s are for M series cars only!

• brought his M2 in to install some 2mm wheel spacers to improve handling and his !
• Wheel Spacers when sized correctly and widen the track of the vehicle and improve handling when going thru the corners. Keeping vehicle planted is key to shaving those times when your at a track day or giving your vehicle a very subtle but aggressive look.

Sometimes you have to accept defeat, dust it off and learn from it.

• This Hyundai Elantra had us chasing ghost in broad daylight! 👤👻
• The customer’s concern was hard starts, stalling and misfires during start up. During our testing we found 0 DTCs related to his concern. We decided to touch the basics and look up the vin for any TSBs or recalls and found that it had a recall for the ignition coils having abnormal resistance values in cold weather, and our resistance test showed that they were out of range. We replaced all the ignition coils along with fresh plugs, but before sending the customer on his way we decided to conduct a compression test since we had all the plugs out and it passed with flying colors. A week later the customer reached out saying that the condition returned and only got worse, of course we asked him to return the vehicle as soon as he can. We decided to conduct a leak down test and it passed! We asked the customer to leave the vehicle overnight to verify the leak down readings and sure enough in the morning the vehicle failed the leak down test only holding 20psi of pressure with 90psi incoming. It was bleeding compression when cold causing a misfire until the vehicle warmed up when the piston rings finally decided to expand and seat.

• The recommended remedy was rebuilding the engine or replacing it due to a faulty bottom end, which the customer elected not to do. 😔

To Infiniti and Beyond!✈️

• This Infiniti G35x stopped at several different shops before giving us a shot because he couldn’t get his vehicle to pass the New York State inspection due to a stubborn Check Engine light.
• We try our absolute best to diagnose a vehicle correctly before replacing parts as we don’t currently own a parts cannon to shoot at it.
• During our testing we found that he had DTCs related to the O2 Sensor heater circuit being faulty and a DTC related to in inoperative fuel gauge ( yea the fuel gauge)
• After a phone call with the customer he told me that since he’s owned the vehicle his fuel gauge never worked properly.
• After testing all the circuits related to his concerns the remedy to his concerns included replacing 1 O2 sensor and the Unified Amp Meter located behind the navigation unit.

• After taking the vehicle on a 40 mile drive to get all the emissions monitors to set, he was able to pass his NYS inspection and avoid having to park the vehicle up!

• We love an built vehicle and this C63 doesn’t disappoint.
• This was towed in because the customer heard a pop noise under hard acceleration and couldn’t accelerate afterwards. 🤬
• We threw this beast on the lift and found out that it upgraded from a one piece axle design to a two piece version.

• We took the rear drivers side suspension apart and replaced it and he was back to doing burn outs and tearing the streets up.

Beep Beep who got the keys to my Jeep vrroooommmmm! 🛻💨

• As an service provider, we ensure that their fleet is maintained and running it tip top shape for their clients.
• During their multipoint inspection they discovered that the Check Engine Light was on and decided to send it on over to us so we could diagnose it for them and remedy their concern.
• We scanned it and found a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) related to the active grille shutter module. The active grille shutter serves as both a cooling system component and has aerodynamic functions to improve mpgs. When functioning incorrectly this can lead to reduced mpgs, and cooling system issues such as overheating or running too cool. 😰🥶
• hooked us up with an a replacement and this was back on the road in no time.

Time to bring the yachts out!

• This murdered out Rolls Royce Wraith was looking out looking to catch a case, when it couldn’t start.
• We scanned it on site and found that it could not be accurately diagnosed as we had to codes to lead us anywhere, so we had it towed on over to the shop for further diagnostics.
• We had a good battery, fuel and compression. All we were missing was some good ole Spark!

• Both Engine computers, Yes I said BOTH, as in 2 weren’t seeing a consistent crank signal upon startup. Since Crankshaft Position Sensor is located down below, its exposed to moisture and the harsh elements of these NYC streets. We found a faulty Crank sensor that had a generous amount of crud in the connector. Cleaned the terminals and the sensor with some contact cleaner and this boat was ready to set sail!

• This sick 991.2 gen 911 came in for an active spoiler malfunction.
• The active spoiler usually deploys when this 911 exceeds speed of 70+ Mph to increase aero and create more downforce.
• Following the wiring diagram and conducting various test, we found that the active spoiler module was faulty.
