It’s that time of the year folks, The Walt Ellison Memorial Hibernia Open Golf Tournament Wed June12th @ Van Cortland Golf Course 🏌️ What to expect: ✅ Doors open at 8am for breakfast and Bloody Mary Bar🍹 ✅ Coach leaves promptly at 9am loaded with ice cold beer. 🍺 ✅ We roll into Van Cortland. ✅ Prizes for team low net. ✅ Longest drive and closest to the hole ⛳️ ✅ Burgers or dogs at the turn ✅ After the round it’s back to Hibernia for the award ceremony and BBQ. Dilemma’s, Dilemma’s, should you celebrate Saint Paddy on his national day or the day after?? Yes in NYC the Parade will be held on the 16th a day early as the 17th falls on the Sunday but not to worry Hibernia will celebrate on both days.
Hope you have been practicing, because Hibernia’s Holy Day(s) are around the corner, that’s right all you Irish and plastic paddy’s alike St. Paddy’s day(s) are less than one week away.
Breakfast specials on Saturday 16th till Noon: a Bloody Mary, Irish Coffee and Brekkie Sambo with Hash browns all $7/each.
And of course we will be celebrating with our usual fervor and shenanigans, as always Scott the Leprechaun will be in attendance handing out free shots, beads, T-shirts, hats etc…, Look out for Sean the Nun when he opens his wallet and is very generous for about 4 minutes but not to worry if you miss him the now famous Balloon Drop serves up many amazing prizes so you can burst your way to a good time, the Bagpipers will also be on hand for your entertainment and our resident Dj’s will have all the place thumping with Trad and all genres of Irish music. There’ll be live music with Hey Buddy Sunday at 6pm
