We tried Riso Margherita Risotto with Red Radicchio and to say it is delicious is an understatement. True to their work of “Making a simple product, extraordinary.” Come by the shop where you will find it along with Risotto with Porcini mushroom and Risotto with Truffle. 😋

The latest "go to" place in Bronx's famed Little Italy neighborhood is Pace's Italian Market at 2314 Arthur Avenue. This cheesemonger's paradise just opened in November and has the most amazing array of fresh cheeses including my favorite, Buffalo fresh ricotta. Most are imported from Italy or homemade on the premises and cannot be found anywhere else in the country. Be sure to check out the olive/antipasto bar at the end of counter and say hi to owner Angelo Pace--who just might be New York's top imported cheese expert--while you are there! And before you ask, there is sampling available (as you can see from trats of cheeses on top of the counter).
