Vice President Sara Duterte is skipping President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s third State of the Nation Address, calling herself "the designated survivor."

ABS-CBN News is trying to verify if the uttered phrase is in reference to an American fictional series on the real-life designated-survivor succession line in the US. The American tradition seeks to ensure that a top member of the government is able to step up if the nation loses its leadership assembled at the Capitol for the State of the Union address.

Somethinq new happened today for the Prize Patrol while surprising Angela S. from Byrnes Mill, MO. When Danielle arrived at the winner's door she immediately rang the Ring Doorbell. Within seconds, 17-year-old Lexi opened it and immediately screamed. She knew her mother had been entering the sweepstakes every day (she teased her) and her big win had come…but she wasn't home! All of a sudden, we hear "OH MY GOODNESS" but didn't know where it was coming from. Can you guess where? The Ring doorbell! Lexi's mom Angela was seeing the whole thing on her Ring doorbell app 6g Angela was at a charity event and had to run outside to see if it was really happening at her home. She left immediately and came to meet US!

While we waited about 45 minutes Lexi told us how deserving her mom was and we got to spend quality time with their 2-year-old Shih-Tzu Gizmo.
So, Danielle basically had 2 winning moments! First her daughter Lexi's reaction and then the winner Angela!!

They both Were SO EXCITED!!!

When asked what she would use the money for, Angela said,
"kids are expensive!" and this money will help with college tuition and of course some gifts for the holidays that are right around the corner.

Angela said she had "25,000 I told ya so's" to her friends and family who teased her for entering. Lexi said she was going to tell all her friends to enter....and you should too!

Father, I humbly present myself as one who has chosen to turn away from their sinful ways. It is a choice I made when I chose to follow you and Lord, it is a choice I intend to abide in. Father, help me to walk in a way that is worthy of this calling. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
