🌐 Celebrating International Data Center Day! 🌐
Thrilled to have been part of an enlightening session at Fontbonne Hall Academy High School in Brooklyn today! Members of the 7x24 Exchange Metro New York Chapter and the WiMCO community shared insights into the fascinating world of data centers. Mary Glynn TLM Group, LLC , Rhonda Jensen WB Engineers, Brady Smith AKF Group, and Kate Thomas Rx Monitoring Services, engaged students in discussions about data center fundamentals, operational mechanics, and career opportunities within the industry.
The enthusiasm and curiosity of the students was noticeable as they posed thought-provoking questions on various aspects, from job applicant acceptance rates to educational pathways, and even the impact of solar flares on data centers. It was inspiring to witness such eagerness to learn!
Building on the success of last year's outreach efforts through the 7x24 Exchange Metro New York Chapter, we're thrilled to continue spreading awareness about data centers and career opportunities in the industry. Last year we initiated our first High School Outreach with a presentation by Mary Glynn, Kate Thomas, Priya Domadia and Diana Bilous. This year Diana Bilous and Kevin Powell expanded our outreach to yet another high school in NJ. While we missed Diana and Priya in Brooklyn today, we're fortunate to have Brady Smith and Rhonda Jensen joining the team to ensure a successful event.

Happy International Women's Day! Today let's celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of women everywhere.
To wrap up our anniversary month, here is a throwback photo from a business development trip with one of our favorite characters and past employees, Dick Sowinski.
Throwback Thursday to 2004 when TLM Group acted as Owner’s Representative for American International Realty Corp. on a unique emergency power project in lower Manhattan – the Electrical Disaster Recovery Plan (EDRP). After three major power outages, AIG formulated a plan to energize their 1 million square foot headquarters building for an indefinite period of time.
Four 2-megawatt high voltage mobile generators were purchased as part of a unique power project which enabled the entire building to be powered independent of the ConEd grids in lower Manhattan.
In order to accept each 100,000 pound trailer mounted generator and its associated paralleling gear, the entire perimeter sidewalk had to be reinforced and new vaults were installed in Cedar and Pine Streets for the required ConEd switches.
TLM Group acted as Owner’s Representative for this AIG Realty Corp. during the initial design and implementation of the EDRP. TLM continued to manage the recurring tests of the MGP (Mobile Generator Plant).
A day to remember the leaders who shaped our nation. Happy Presidents' Day!

TLM has attained a number of significant milestones in our 25 years of existence! Here are some key statistics highlighting our achievements thus far.
Starting off with one of TLM’s first projects: First Union Bank / Wachovia. Relocating the trading and research departments from Tower 2 of the World Trade Center to Tower 49 on 49th Street NYC. This project comprised of building three floors of Tower 49 – Trading Floor, Research Floor and Data Center Floor – 16,000 sqft per floor. The Trading Floor and Data Center were powered by UPS and Generator back-up systems. TLM oversaw and managed the construction, technology installation, commissioning and close-out. Project duration was 1 year, starting in the fourth quarter of 1999 to 2000. This included the demolition of the space in Tower 2 World Trade Center. Project was finished on schedule and within budget.
Happy Groundhog's Day! TLM Group is celebrating with a positive outlook for the future. We are looking forward to providing 25 more years of incredible service to our clients in the data center and mission-critical industries. Join us in this exciting journey!
