🎥 On August 26: Learn about a Salvadorian-American family's fight to stay together — on the streets, and in federal court — in "Almost American."

CBS Assistant Professor of International Journalism Nina Alvarez followed the Ayala Flores family for five years, after the Department of Homeland Security revoked the Temporary Protected status of over 400,000 El Salvadorian people.

With reporting partner Caterina Barbera-Kipreos, '18 M.S. Documentary, she obtained nearly 50 hours of videotaped depositions, interviewed dozens of government sources and reviewed over 20,000 pages of internal DHS documents.
