DIFFERENCE 3 YEARS MAKE
Just a few short years ago we proudly deposited you, our first son, by the doors of the Lubavitcher Mesivta in Pittsburgh, PA. Those were good years, filled with advances, inner struggle, surrounded by Torah and Chassidus. This is what I wanted even before you were born...
Those were the years when you also developed, entirely on your own, a powerful yearning to connect to the Land of our Holy Ancestors, the sublime Land of Israel. You have now joined the Birkat Moshe Yeshiva in Maa'le Adumim
As we learned together, The Land of Israel, after all, is not something external, (a national asset, a tool to achieve a gathering of the Jews, physical or even spiritual). Our Land is bound by the bond-of-life to our People, sharing in its deepest traits. It is of course impossible to appreciate the sanctity of the Land and to actualize the depth of love by a human understanding - only by the spirit of God in the soul of Israel...
There's no greater joy for us as parents, and I am sure to our Rebbe too, than to see your continued growth, Jewish, Torah growth. From strength to strength, любимый сыночек!

Ever saw this law in Maimonides's Klei Hamikdash (Laws of Vessels of the Temple): There should never be fewer than twelve Levites standing on the duchan (platform) each day to recite the songs over the sacrifices and their number could be increased without end. The songs were song vocally without musical instruments, for the fundamental dimension of the song is vocalization. Others would stand on [the duchan] and play melodies with musical instruments: some of them were Levites and some of them were Israelites of distinguished lineage, fit to marry into the priesthood. For only a person of distinguished lineage was allowed to ascend to the duchan...
Distinguished lineage was A THING!
IT'S NOW TIME TO DANCE!
Rabbi Leib, the Shpoler Zeide, once led the congregation in prayer on Friday night in the Synagogue of Rabbi Avraham Hamalach ("the Angel"), son of the Maggid of Mezritch, successor to the Baal Shem Tov. After the singing of "Lecha Dodi", the Zeide danced for a long time -- wondrous dances spinning round and round with astonishingly quick and graceful steps. Those watching saw his tremendous enthusiasm as he seemed to cast off his material self in joyous dance.
Done with our colossal descent, let's now rise, let's ! Not the physical, earthly dance, but one of refinement, cleaving, Godliness!
We are the only I know that incorporates a dance. Not just a regular dance though - the dance!
TO DESTROY US?
, one of the heroes of our says that Jacob and Eisav split the months between them. Eisav took the Jewish months of Tamuz and Av and Jacob took Elul and Tishrei.
Think about all the destruction that took place against the Jews in Tamuz and Av! This is in contrast with the great spiritual high that comes after that challenging time. We can use Elul and Tishrei to achieve ever higher levels of !
Seems we, the Jews, are fasting tonight 😭. One last time!
TO EXILE
Our Rashi raises the questions of the indescribable sanctity and loss of life, the endlessness of personal responsibility.
Judaism prescribes to a city of as an atonement for an accidental killing. We tell the story of one such killing by one of the greatest Sages that every lived, Rabbi Nathan Nora Spira of Krakow!

🌸Shavuot With Tzaddikim 🎆 - https://mailchi.mp/c90662938376/join-the-righteous
The Rebbe approached the platform to lead the prayers himself. A hush fell over the assembly. The Jews began to pray with enthusiasm. The gentiles—seeing an old man with a long beard, covered from head to knees with an oversized white shawl with strings dangling off it to the ground, chanting loudly the words of the prayers while all his limbs seemed to be trembling and shaking—all laughed heartily.
We sincerely believe the story of our venue - about the centrality of a mentor, about faith, positivity, values, love is absolutely essential. Please consider buying a deeply-discounted ticket to help everyone hear this message!
Even though we are closed now during the busiest days of the year, we are alive and looking forward to better days. And they will undoubtedly come! You will be able to use your tickets as soon as New York re-opens, Gd willing.
Please help our venue survive the blows of the recent weeks!
WHAT DO THE RIGHTEOUS DO?
At a time of great challenge, they strengthen the faith.
The absolute assurance and conviction that G‑d will make things good, actually becomes the conduit and vessel which draw down and receive G‑d’s blessings.
Positive thinking is not just a way to weather negative circumstances, but actually makes positive results happen.
Even though we are closed for business until further notice, we are filled with joy about all the wonderful things that are yet to come. Only Joy!
YOU HAVE LEISURE, BUT DOES IT UPLIFT YOU?
We lead our lives in a material universe and discover it through the senses; yet we are more than mere matter and we are capable of deeper experiences such as love and joy. Having you been feeling THOSE lately?
We believe the secret lies in how we spend leisure time.
Our leisure must start involving periods of calm, time away from urgency, the opportunity to reflect calmly on the world and ourselves. This reflective rest does not mean just doing nothing. Indeed, reflection often happens most effectively through vigorously performing activities that we individually find restful: exercise, creating or appreciating imaginative work, study, prayer, the company of loved ones, games and play.
Please OneBefore Escape to learn about a philosophy of rest that change your life!

DEPRIVED!
Unfortunately, we are deprived. Deprived of authentic birthdays. This is America, the land of plenty, the land of🏪🏪🏪 Costcos, Sam’s Clubs and department stores that carry everything in every size. It is high time for authentic birthdays to follow the custom of the land by being abundantly accessible for all
It makes a certain amount of sense that birthday celebrations evolved on the materialistic side of things, while remaining stagnant in it’s spiritual side.
Throughout history certain enduring religions either overlooked the individual’s birthday or viewed it’s celebration as a negative thing. Unless you were rich or famous. Better yet if you were famous after death. Other than that, birthday celebrations did not have a nourishing environment to grow and thrive in the spiritual world.
That logic however has lost it’s hold on our society. Birthday parties are now the norm and it is unheard of to pass it by without celebration. Naturally, you♥️ love your 👦child and want to give them the most wonderful🥳🎂🎈😄 birthday celebration you can provide. When it is time to start the planning there are ideas all around, such as creative presents, exciting group games, and top day trip destinations. All ideas of how to make a birthday party the most materialistic possible and not many ideas on how to incorporate anything meaningful and spiritual. We all have busy lives.

Our Story
We are part of the global escape room phenomenon, as well as an immersive museum of how technology allows us to trace our roots to the most illustrious leaders of the Jewish people. You will be able to relive the true story of Dr. Jeffrey Mark Paull, who traced his lineage to the greatest saints and sages of the Jewish people, the Shpoler Zaide, Rashi and ultimately King David.
