Red Bull Terminal Takeover 2022. For the second year in a row, Red Bull trusted NYDAC to build the ramps and obstacles inside the old Louis Armstrong Airport in New Orleans. NYDAC was tasked with building three skateparks inside the old terminal along with a mini ramp on the tarmac. Check out the video to see the process of the build out and see some our own crew enjoying the fruits of their labor.

NYDAC took a trip out west to Las Vegas to help build out Red Bull Kumite and it was a blast! Red Bull Kumite is a gaming competition that brings in some of the best fighters in the country. Since this competition is all about video games that involve fighting, it only seemed fit to have it in Las Vegas in a custom built fighting ring. With our help, Red Bull was able to create a truly unique event that every competitor and viewer enjoyed. Fully capturing the essence of a real boxing match or UFC fight, Red Bull Kumite was a huge success and we’re so grateful to have been a part of such a unique experience!

Lollapalooza was one of the first festivals back for us after the pandemic and we couldn't think of a better way to come out of the festival draught we've had! As always, Red Bull brought us out to the festival to build out their trailer bar along with some custom modifications that we took care of while on site and we think it came out pretty awesome! With handmade Red Bull mocktails, plenty of chill space and 2 custom photo opp walls, who wouldn't love to hang at the trailer bar?!

We were lucky enough to work at both Louder Than Life and Aftershock Festival to help with the instalation of various activations around the festival sites. We had a great time and can't wait to be down in Daytona for their last fest of the season!

Skateboarder Jake Wooten And Red Bull Brought ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’ Airport Level To Life For Film Contest In early May, Red Bull and pro skater Jake Wooten transformed the abandoned south terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport into a temporary skatepark. Over two days, teams of skaters representing their hometown skate shops filmed their best content in the empty terminal.

Last week NYDAC went down to in Nashville with throwingstar collective to build out the second stop of redbull’s event. Our team managed to custom build a 16’ wide, 5’ tall mini ramp with wedge extensions and a 4’ hip all inside the small space we had to work with. On top of that, we also built a custom slate area on the venues outdoor deck.

We had a great time building this custom skatepark for such an important event and can’t wait to do it again!

Last year NYDAC had the opportunity to build out what could possibly be one of the coolest projects we've gotten to work on. Our team drove down to New Orleans just before Mardi Gras to build a skate park inside a warehouse that housed a bunch of Mardi Gras floats. The idea was for Broc Raiford to come in and ride the ramps while also incorporating the floats and props with each trick he did. This was Broc's first project with Red Bull and it could not have been more fitting for a Louisiana native.
