This week, glimpses from the mission fields in Southeast Asia show incredible things happening. Local evangelists, supported by Evidence of Faith, visit house churches and connect with people right where they are. For those who show interest, there’s continued follow-up and support. Often, these evangelists come bearing food and essential medical supplies to help those who need that extra bit of daily support.
Last year alone, over 86,000 people found faith through these evangelists’ efforts. And that’s not all—1,666 new churches and house churches were planted.

Supporting Palestinian Communities in Crisis
Imagine being a lifeline for families struggling with hardship and hope. One former pastor of the Baptist congregation in Gaza, who had to flee due to persecution, now serves as a field leader and national evangelist. Today, he's back on the front lines, aiding Christian families in Gaza facing tremendous economic challenges. Many of these families once had steady jobs in Israel, but now, with no income and resources running thin, their needs are greater than ever. Through local churches, they can offer a meal every other day to people in the neighborhood. "The need is enormous," he shares.
On the other side of the border, in Bethlehem on the West Bank, two dedicated national evangelists work closely with children, teens, and young women who have suffered abuse. For the first time, they recently brought together children in foster care from Gaza, now residing in Bethlehem, with children from Bethlehem itself. Initially, leaders were worried tensions might spark, but instead, the gathering turned into a remarkable meeting. These young hearts heard messages of love, value, and belonging here. Inspired by the success, they're now planning these gatherings weekly!

Ten baptized in Southeast Asia
Fresh pictures from a mission field in Asia show new believers being baptized. “Some come to faith the first time we witness to them, while we meet others several times before we share the gospel and they come to faith,” says a national team leader. National evangelists follow up new believers with regular visits, often braving treacherous conditions to reach remote villages by motorcycle.

Urgent Crisis Alerts from Laos and Vietnam
These dramatic pictures come from national field leaders in Laos and Vietnam, where severe storms and flooding have hit large areas. These leaders and their teams are doing everything they can to assist local communities, but they are asking for prayers.
"One of our evangelists' homes was also flooded, and everything inside has been damaged or destroyed. Please pray for him as well," urges our field leader in Laos.

Rescued from a Life-Threatening Situation in Uganda
Today, Muhammed, who has cerebral palsy, was saved from a dire situation in Uganda. He is frail, and his family has no money. His father works far away and is rarely home, with no paycheck coming in for a long time. They were trying to build a simple house, but construction has stalled due to lack of funds.
Muhammed also has a 4-year-old brother who desperately needs schooling and assistance. For now, we can only help Muhammed, but efforts are underway to bring his entire family to the Special Pearls of Africa center later. This boy urgently needs help—without it, it may be too late.

Faith Fuels Hope For Youth!
Check out these photos from a youth center in Southeast Asia run by a dedicated team of national evangelists supported by Evidence of faith. The center attracts young people for music lessons, help with homework, and much more. But they’re also offered the chance to take the “New Life” Intro Course—a simple, foundational introduction to the Christian faith.
Globally, nearly 100,000 new students took the course last year. Many are new believers, while others learn about Jesus and what He’s done for them for the first time.
Last year alone, over 30,000 people embraced faith in Jesus through this course.

Urgent Aid for the Blind in Nepal

In Nepal, heavy rainfall has triggered floods and destruction of lives and property. Blind individuals, who usually sing in the streets to earn a little money for food, cannot go outside. They have no other way to make a living, and now, they’re suffering.

A team of national evangelists supported by Evidence of Faith is providing food to the blind and their families and inviting them to home gatherings where they can find community and hear an uplifting message.

“We plan to give them some training and job opportunities so they can start earning again. Please, join us in supporting them with your prayers and donations,” the team leader encourages.

Helping Refugees and Child Victims of War
Effective immediately, ten national evangelists in Iraq will receive support to assist thousands of refugees in camps in Iraq and along the border with Turkey.
"Currently, we have 150 children between the ages of 7 and 13 whom we bring to church. They also receive follow-up support for schooling and other needs," reports one of the evangelists.
Most of the refugees arrived following ISIS's invasion in 2014 and the war in Syria. The evangelists also help innocent children born because of r**e and sexual slavery of Yazidi women in Iraq. Many of these children are orphans, and no one wants them. Through Evidence of Faith, you make a difference for those left behind.

NATIONAL MISSIONARIES BRING RELIEF & HOPE TO REMOTE NEPAL VILLAGES.
A team of national missionaries supported by Evidence of Faith in Nepal navigated steep mountain trails to distribute free acetaminophen, bandages, and first aid supplies to villagers in the Humla district.
People in these remote areas lack access to medicines and supplies, such as acetaminophen, bandages, and band-aids. So, these national missionaries handed out free medicine to the villagers.
“This relief work opens the door for conversations where we share the gospel and pray for man,” says the field leader for this team.

Update from Special Pearls of Africa Village in Uganda.
Siblings of children with special needs were excited to begin their first day of school. A youth group from Filadelfia Kristiansand in Norway, who recently visited them, sponsored this opportunity.
Construction of 48 additional apartments is underway. Half of them have been in progress, and work on the other 24 has just begun.
The electric car is a huge hit; the children love it.
A 4-acre area with 10 different types of crops has been cultivated to help the center sustain its activities.
As routines at the center continuously improve, children and adults are thriving.

Exciting news from Dina Special Children Uganda! We're thrilled to announce that four houses, each with six apartments, are nearing completion. And we're just getting started – four more houses are in the early stages of construction. By the end of the summer, we'll have 48 new apartments ready!

But that's not all. We've taken a big step towards sustainability by planting various crops for our own use. This is just the beginning. Our ultimate goal is to establish a farm that will generate income to support our operations.

GOSPEL CAMPAIGN IN KAMPALA SLUM SEES MORE THAN 50 COME TO FAITH
50-70 people embraced salvation, and many also came forward for prayer after the second night of a gospel campaign in the slums of Kampala, Uganda. Among the speakers was Hans Martin Skagestad from Evidence of Faith, and several Bible school students shared their testimonies. It's the first time a campaign has been held in this area.

A FRESH START FOR CHILDREN WITHOUT HOPE
Two children with disabilities were rescued from a slum in Uganda today. A group of 27 people from Norway, including three from Evidence of Faith, had the opportunity to participate in retrieving and relocating them to the new Special Pearls of Africa village. Both children were confined for several years, lying on concrete floors in very dire conditions. Emran, seven years old and 20 pounds, was looked after by his grandmother when his parents abandoned him. Aisha, nine years old and 31 pounds, was cared for by her mother after her father died in a car accident. The mother has two other young children; now, all four can move into the village.
"The grandmother and mother of these two children truly love them, but their lives have been extremely difficult. Now, both the children and their families are receiving help and support," says Hans Martin Skagestad, co-CEO of Evidence of Faith.

RESCUING THE INNOCENT & RESTORING HOPE
Two special children were found and rescued from the worst imaginable conditions. With your help, these children are now safe and comfortable at Special Pearls of Africa village in Uganda. The child being carried through the doorway had lived her entire life closeted in a small, dark room. She had never seen the light of day. The girl on the floor had only days left to live when we found her emaciated and without strength.

Evangelists supported by Evidence of Faith in the Himalayas are now offering what they call a Masterclass in evangelism to churches. Recently, they trained 124 new evangelists!

"The response from those who participated was overwhelmingly positive," the field leader reports. "This training equips them with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively teach and share the gospel using the New Life Intro Course.
