Even the bottom bow is dent free. has just been fully professionally overhauled in our shop and seals perfectly from top to bottom. Check out some of our photos because the engravings are crisp and sharp on this one and absolutely pop though the Dark Nitro Cellulose Lacquer. NOTE: The neck of this horn is original lacquer and hasn’t been pulled down in the past and is from the exact same year of Production in Paris France, BUT at some point must have been swapped because the serial stamp on the Horn is 122 # # # and the Neck is 123 # # #.

Top of the line extremely high quality Pisoni Pads from Italy with Solid Brass Screw back Resonators! The only negative thing to note is that it HAS been re lacquered, although the job was done expertly and does not negatively affect its playability. It is quite a rarity for us to have a Michael Brecker Serial (between 80 # # # and 88 # # #) come into our shop on this kind of condition. This is an 80 # # # Serial Number 1959 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone with all original lacquer with matching original neck serial number! The neck is in truly spectacular original condition with no neck pull down and hardly any lacquer loss even. The bottom bow is virtually perfect original condition without dents dings and damages and Original Case too! There are also no Re-Solders on the entire horn. There is only a very small amount of lacquer loss on some of the keys. The body tube is nice and straight and it currently sealing beautifully from top to bottom. It is one of the most exceptional sounding Mark VIs that I have ever played.

Check out this Beautiful Original Lacquer Buescher “400” Top Hat and Cane Tenor Saxophone! Much of its original lacquer has worn off but its engravings are still crisp and beautiful as you can see in the photos. These tenors truly need no introduction because those that KNOW…know. These are some if the best sounding tenors on the market and have a naturally huge sound. The pads in the horn are in good shape and they seal from top to bottom.
The Thing to note on this tenor is that the original neck has suffered some pull down in the past and it has been patched on the side which is why it is priced so affordably! The neck is still sealing perfectly airtight and plays just fine.

Saxophone fans, here is your chance to get a great deal on a killer Mark VI alto! Just into our shop is this 1970 Mark VI alto. This 175 # # # was certainly loved by its previous owner and it became evident during it's full restoration. We consider this alto to be a "players horn", it plays absolutely fantastically and has that iconic Selmer voice! This is a medium bow Mark VI that features the brilliance of a later VI but with great intonation and unmatchable response.
This horn has received a FULL restoration by our shop. There are a number of re-solders throughout the horn done to get it into top playing shape. We also fixed the low C key after what appeared to be a snapped key arm. It is now fully functional and operates just as it should.
The problematic areas on vintage horns like these, the neck and the bottom bow, are dent free and in fantastic shape. The horn is completely unlacquered, but a lot of the floral engraving is still present on the bell.
This alto has been fitted with Pisoni pads, ensuring perfect sealing from top to bottom. The key work on this alto is incredibly smooth allowing the horn to practically play itself! The next owner of this horn will for sure love it as much as the previous!

Check out this absolutely gorgeous 134 # # # 1966 Mark VI tenor! This horn has approximately 85% of its beautiful original lacquer remaining minus normal wear in commonly handled areas! It has just been fully professionally overhauled in our shop and needs nothing!
This tenor is in fantastic cosmetic shape. The body is free from dents and dings and the body tube is perfectly straight. The bottom bow and rooster which often smashed in is free from denting and the neck shows NO signs of pull down. The neck is also completely original to the horn and does homage the matching serial number present! This ensures that this tenor plays just exactly how Selmer originally intended it to.

In our opinion having played literally thousands of Mark VIs this is a really special era of manufacture that have a very unique voice to them and this horn is no exception!

Our custom thumb hooks are designed to help alleviate thumb, hand, and wrist tension found with standard thumb hooks. Our design helps balance the weight of the saxophone in the right hand and spread it out from just the thumb alone.

We’ve designed a hook that has an extension on the left side. The tab serves two purposes: 1. To help give the thumb a place to rest allowing for better overall grip and comfort and 2. To keep the thumb off the body tube of the saxophone. This is beneficial to those with larger hands, as well as those who are trying to prevent lacquer wear.

Our hooks also features a slightly angled design to better fit the crook of the hand. Standard straight hooks that provide discomfort can lead to serious complications such as carpal-tunnel or arthritis. Finding a hook that is comfortable is very important to long term playing health.
