In the countdown to 2023, we’re featuring the GHD team’s favorite designs from 2022!

Lauren’s favorite designs comes from an undisclosed tech client in Texas.

The first graphic is for a floor themed “Desert Wildflowers” and uses the shape of the Trailing Windmill flower and incorporates data that represent the 800+ native bee species in Texas.

The second graphic is for the “Marfa Thunderstorm” floor and focuses on the probability of precipitation in Marfa, Texas. Each puddle represents a month and the lines represent the chance of rain.

In the countdown to 2023, we’re featuring the GHD team’s favorite designs from 2022!

Melina designed these wall graphics for Amazon Charleston. By combining nature and literature, these graphics explore the origins of Amazon as a bookstore and the rich history and environment of Charleston.

For example, Edgar Allen Poe lived and worked in Sullivan’s Island which is called out on one of the maps. The map is then paired with local flora playing off of the the theme of Amazon’s literary “roots”.

In the countdown to 2023, we’re featuring the GHD team’s favorite designs from 2022!

Lynnae designed this glass graphic for an undisclosed tech client in Texas. The building was themed around wildflowers of Texas, and the graphics took a ‘digitized’ approach of representing the flowers for a tie-in with the client’s technology roots.

The colors were selected to match the interior acoustic walls, creating a cohesive color experience when inside the rooms.

James designed this gritty grunge graphic after researching the history of music venues in Seattle. His work was inspired by listening to the music of local artists like Nirvana & Pearl Jam to help set the mood & inspire the design.

GHD Partner, Nico Raddatz, was recognized as a distinguished alumni from Western Michigan University for his extensive contributions to the design community since graduating in 2010. He spent last week at his alma mater’s design department giving a lecture, hosting a workshop, and reviewing senior thesis projects.
