We know Theaters
last night at the Tanger Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. A fabulous show at a fabulous venue!
Welcome back to Broadway!
Broadway has always been symbolic of the life, energy, diversity, and spirit of New York City and as designers and patrons of the theatre we are thrilled to celebrate the end of the longest shut down in history.
Our rich history of working on Broadway includes the 1997 restoration of the historic New Amsterdam Theatre, also originally touted as “The House Beautiful.” The Theatre opened that year with the premiere of Disney’s animated film, Hercules. Later that year it became the original home of the highest grossing musical of all time, The Lion King. In 2014, Aladdin opened as the third production ever played on the new stage and continues to be one of Broadway’s biggest blockbuster hits. Over 113 years later, the New Amsterdam is the oldest operating theatre of Broadway and an official New York City landmark.
What’s the first show you’ll be seeing?
Happy (Fête de la Musique)! We have been lucky enough to work on some of the most compelling music spaces in the country and want to recognize and celebrate the wonderful world of music and the musicians who are a part of it.
