We are excited to share a virtual opportunity from Nglccny - National LGBT Chamber of Commerce New York!🔥 Applications are now open for the 3rd annual Own It! Program. The Own It! Program is a virtual entrepreneurial intensive designed for transgender, nonbinary, & gender expansive (TGX) new and aspiring business owners to bring their entrepreneurial plans to fruition. Own It! is co-created and maintained by #nglccNY, TD and DESTINATION TOMORROW. The Own It! Program will cover topics such as developing a business plan, assessing your market, and more! The program will culminate with a business pitch event as a special edition of #NGLCC’s Sip & Pitch Fridays. Upon completion of the program, business owners who are not yet LGBTBE® certified or members of their local affiliate LGBT chamber will have the opportunity to get their LGBTBE® certification fees and local affiliate LGBT chamber membership dues sponsored! All new and aspiring TGX entrepreneurs across the country are eligible to apply for the virtual program, and a select cohort will be chosen to participate from those who apply. Sessions for the program will be held on Zoom in September and October of 2023. We encourage you to share this opportunity with any new OR aspiring TGX entrepreneurs in your networks.
