Good news!!! KidQuest has a new home...
Two years ago, my son (who was 7 at the time) and I created a fun card game called KidQuest. Its mission is to help kids get to know the grown ups in their life and create stronger family connections.
My original intent was to show him that he can have an idea at any age and get it done and that you don't have to wait to be an entrepreneur. It was also something that helped pass the time during the pandemic.

It's been a wild ride doing this with him, figuring out prototypes, Amazon seller central (!), having him do press for the first time, getting distribution, winning industry awards and hearing how the game had created magic moments and memories for so many families. We also had to deal with shipping issues, inventory problems, higher costs, not being particularly good at social media and wondering if we should stop or put more effort behind it with our limited budget.

We focused this year on finding the right home for our game, a place that would honor and really believe in the original intent of what we created, and a company that could help us scale and expand our distribution network and market the game globally and reach more people. We were welcomed by many toy and media companies and invited to pitch. (Amazing to do a pitch with your own child!)
We are thrilled to be able to announce that KidQuest has been acquired by Chronicle Books, a publishing company that I have personally loved for a long time.
