Leo Valesquez booked me to do a presentation for his clothing line back in 2012 and I couldn't have been more happier to work alongside my fellow alumina brother. He always spoke about the future, us running the fashion industry together and the possibilities to create real change. August 14, 2016, we lost a hero, a icon . He gave his life to save another and that to me is courageous and I find myself always thinking about what more he could've done and where he would've taken the business next. He's impacted so many of us in such a short period of time and I think in some weird way he knew. He lived life on his terms, stayed smiling, was always challenging me to stay more positive and always showed mad love and was always introducing me to people at events. I think of him as ahead of the curve, a innovator and is truly an fallen angel.
