NYC’s longest running reggae day party arrives in Brooklyn! Join host Ma Cherie & DJ Jam Central an afternoon of Studio One, Lovers Rock and dancehall at Pier 6 Liberty Lawn this Sunday, July 21 as part of our series. Presented in partnership with the Conservancy.

Come with friends, or come alone — these afternoons are an opportunity to relax, lay out, and do not too much of anything, while a rotation of DJ’s do their thing in the background. We’re taking lazy Sundays very seriously, creating moments for good vibes and good people. Have you seen the new installation at Pier 3 at Brooklyn Bridge Park?
'Before The End' by Huma Bhabha sets the stage to evoke mythologies as old as humankind. Bhabha’s four monumental painted and patinated bronzes were cast from carved cork and skull fragments. The mysterious figures recall ancient effigies cut into tombstones, their surfaces evoking centuries of eroded sediment and stone. Yet, unlike a tomb, these four-sided vertical forms stand elevated above the earth, their bones open to the sky.

Join us for our first of the summer, presented by Pluto TV this Thursday, July 11, at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn! We’re kicking off with "Past Lives" (PG-13, 2023, 106 minutes), an Academy Award nominee for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay! This film follows Nora and Hae Sung, two deeply connected childhood friends, who are wrested apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. Twenty years later, they are reunited for one fateful week as they confront notions of love and destiny.
