The Daniel Roth Le Sentier, produced from 1995 to 1999, possesses all the charm and appeal we’ve come to expect from Daniel Roth. Its case measures a traditional 38.5 mm x 35.5 mm and is fashioned in 18k yellow gold. The case itself is sculpted into the ubiquitous “Ellipsocurvex” case shape, unique to and synonymous with Daniel Roth and his eponymous creations. The Le Sentier has blue heat-treated steel hands, adding visual interest to an otherwise monochromatic dial.

The new B 1.618 boasts key features, including its proprietary case crafted from 500 compressed layers of TDHD or “Titanium-Dust-High-Density-Carbon,” a composite infused with titanium powder to give the carbon more stability and a unique marbling appearance. The watch also boasts a generous 90-hour power reserve when the barrel is fully wound and an impressive 5000-G shock resistance.

Today, Parmigiani Fleurier celebrates the birthday of Michel Parmigiani, the founder of Parmigiani Fleurier. On this special occasion, they have unveiled L'Armoriale. A reimagined pocket watch and the latest treasure in the Parmigiani Fleurier' Objets d'Art' Collection.

The novelty of this mechanical movement is that it originally dates to 1890. It was signed by A. Golay Leresche & Fils in Geneva and originally displayed only a chronograph minute repeater. In 1985, Michel Parmigiani restored this very movement and enhanced it with a perpetual calendar developed in his Ateliers. Today, the movement showcases a chronograph, a minute repeater, and a perpetual calendar featuring a moon phase set against an aventurine sky and hand-hammered moons in white gold.

The GS9 Club "Kirazuri" is an elegant timepiece showcasing Grand Seiko's skill and craftsmanship. Their ability to stand toe toe-to-toe with their Swiss counterparts is exemplified in this reference with its unique dial, case finishing, and movement.

The unique texture featured on this GS9 is known as kirazuri, a pattern made famous by ukiyo-e woodblock prints depicting the Matsumoto Castle in Japan's Nagano Prefecture. The texture is reminiscent of fine printmaking paper with its roughness left in, letting the natural fibers shine through.
