Rogue Ales & Spirits
Rogue Ales & Spirits was founded in Oregon in 1988 as one of America’s first microbreweries.
Rogue has won more than 2,000 awards for taste, quality and packaging, and is available in all 50 states as well as 54 countries. Proudly rooted in Newport Oregon, Rogue’s beers, spirits, cocktails, seltzers and sodas are a liquid ode to Oregon and the endless inspiration that its land, its sea and its people provide.
Many deny the existence of the Batsquatch but for years rumors have circled of it living deep in the woods on Mount St. Helens. The tales are all a little hazy on the details - that’s what makes the truth such a juicy mystery.

Controversial take: This is not Beer Cringe. Unlike ice and straws, wine glasses have no ill effect, scientifically, on the flavor of beer (some even say it’s the best way to enjoy beer). But would you do it?!?!
From the hazelnut capital of the United States, our Hazelnut Brown Ale is a nutty twist on a European brown ale, originally crafted by Retired Rogue Brewmaster John Maier’s good friend and avid home-brewer, Chris Studach. Winner of five Great American Beer Festival medals, this sessionable brew showcases Oregon’s state nut with distinct hazelnut flavors and aromas. It’s a great season to try this year round fan favorite! (we ship)

ON TAP NOW: Oktoberfest '24 - at Rogue's Oregon Pubs in Newport and Astoria (Portland next week). This is the 1st of 2 Oktoberfest beers we will release this September. Oktoberfest '24 is a Märzen style beer brewed with Sterling and Perle hops. With hints of biscuit and honey, this 5.0% ABV beer delivers a smooth maltiness with a touch of hoppiness.
Oktoberfest has a special place in Rogue’s heritage with both retired Brewmaster John Maier and current Brewmaster Joel Shields having attended Siebel Institute of Technology in Munich where they discovered their strong affinity and love for German-style beers.

We are proud to announce the release of our West Coast Fresh Hop IPA, just in time for hop season! This IPA showcases the vibrant flavors of Oregon’s hop harvest and the artistry of local coastal brewing with a fruity nose and a slight pine resin finish. The hops used are sourced locally from Goschie Farms, Inc., with Rogue’s brewers selecting the freshest cones to ensure the most flavorful experience possible. “Our Fresh Hop IPA highlights Rogue’s commitment to quality and the brewing heritage of our state. Not many brewers can go into their backyard and pick the product directly for their batches to brew,” - Rogue Brewmaster Joel Shields.

*DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Who does this anyway? A sick and twisted fate for such a carefully crafted pilsner. We would never condone this behavior as it dilutes the flavor and aroma of the beer but to each their own... In some places, it isn't as taboo as in our home state of Oregon.
Friends to the bitter end. Two of Rogue Ale's most popular beers of all time by retired Rogue Brewmaster, John Maier. BUT if you had to choose only one..?
