As January- the Month of Mental Wellness- comes to an end, how are you doing? Really?
“I’m good” has become an automatic response when we’re asked “how are you?” We use those words so often because it’s a safe answer, that doesn’t raise anymore questions.
Next time, when someone asks how you’re doing, I challenge you to respond with how you’re truly feeling.

Eternally Me was created to bring forth the conversation around mental illness and to help end the stigma and negativity that society has towards those with a mental illness.
My goal is to encourage you all to embrace who you are and what you’ve been through. It’s important to heal from all your struggles. You also deserve to share your story with support and no judgement.
Whether you’ve battled a mental illness yourself, or have experienced it through a loved one, it’s hard and you should be proud of yourself.
