A Valentine's Day treat: practice with your partner!
Devin & Deb are back with this special class designed to help you connect with your person, breathe and move together. It's fun and built on connection. Devin will also instruct a few basic hands-on assists and Thai massage techniques you can share with each other. No experience required but please note there is a hands-on element between partners!
All orientations and people are welcome.

Monday and Tuesday are our final classes. Tuesday classes are creating long wait-lists so please be mindful of cancelling if you can no longer come and watching if you're on the wait-list! Monday classes still have room but I recommend booking in advance.
PROP SALE
If you are coming to class on Tuesday you can take things home with you. Please know I will be setting up for Fitness after Gentle so please grab your own props and Venmo or leave cash. Not all items will be available on Tuesday but if you want just a yoga mat/bolster/etc you can take them with you.
Or join us on Wednesday for our 'tag sale' day. We will have extra decorative items and other equipment available. Wednesday can also be a time for you to just come and say goodbye to our space.

Whether you attend or not you will receive the link to the pre-recorded zoom class via email to watch and practice on your own time. Each class is available to watch for 30 days. It's a great way to easily commit to keeping yoga in your weekly routine!

Today will be hard and days ahead will be, too. We have fear for our own family, and for yours, and those we do not know. We know this will disproportionately affect certain people, but we will collectively suffer. We see you, and any reaction you are having to the election today. What can we do?
Perhaps just personal opinion, but some ideas:
- Become nuclear. Your circle, that is. Take care of your family, your people, yourself. Do what you need to do to protect that peace. Focus on your local community rather than the big picture to control the controllables, as Deb would say. The big picture matters but when you feel like you can't do anything, do whatever small thing you can.
- Do good. We will keep standing up for peace, compassion, and equality. You can, too. Whether it is donating, volunteering, or sharing your skills, choosing to act can be not only good for the world, but boost your sense of connectedness, safety, and compassion. In short, do good and feel better.
-Yoga. Now is a very good time to slow down and listen to your body. Take some time to process and connect to this present moment. What's happening in your room around you (not your mind in 2 months...). Be here now.

Pelvic floor, we've all got one. Your pelvic floor is the bottom part of your core, a group of muscles that support your internal organs and connect to your pelvis. Like other muscles they can be hyperactive (over engaged) or hypoactive (reduced motor command). But how often is it talked about in your yoga classes? How do you know what poses are good for you...and which poses may be making symptoms worse? (hint, pigeon pose can go either way!)
Join Devin to learn the basics of your pelvic floor, followed by an All Levels practiced focused on movements that support a balanced pelvic floor.
This class blends gentle stretches, targeted strengthening exercises, and mindful breathwork to release tension, enhance stability, and build core strength. Ideal for anyone looking to manage discomfort, or support recovery from childbirth, surgery, or chronic tension. Feel empowered, balanced, and more connected to your body in a supportive, all-levels environment.
This class is good for everyone, really, but especially those who want to help manage symptoms of a dysfunctional pelvic floor including hip pain, leakage and incontinence, and low back discomfort.
