The holistic treatment approaches I often use include: strength-based therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients create & address goals in counseling. I also offer and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) that can be utilized to treat the issues mentioned above.

It can feel so heavy when learning about trauma and the many things that may cause trauma. But in learning about trauma, you will also learn that the brain has neuroplasticity. This means that with repeated behaviours and strategies learned from licensed mental health clinicians you can also heal trauma in the brain.

Our approach to counseling is holistic, collaborative & person-centered. We create a non-judgmental environment that allows our clients to feel safe & work toward their authentic self. You are welcome here exactly as you are. We often utilize strength-based therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), & motivational interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help clients create & address goals in counseling.
