Tomorrow, Saturday May 11th is the Big Day! The fifteenth annual Kids’ Bike Safety Day at Story Land from 9:30 to 12:30. For children ages 5 to 11 and their families. Free of charge! Walk-ins welcome. Join in the fun and learn all about bike safety!

Reminder that this Wednesday, 3/27, 5-7 pm is our annual Kiwanis Family Night at North Conway Community Center - The K-Family Karnival and Majik Show! We will start the event with food (hotdogs, pizza, popcorn, sweet treats) and games (corn hole, ring toss, bowling) like last year, but will end with a new spectacular magic show featuring Marko the Magician (not to be missed)! All MWV Kiwanis members (plus family and friends), all of our area K-Kids (plus family and friends), and Kennett Key Club members (plus family and friends) are invited!

This is a great cause! The event in it's 3rd year is run by the Kennett Key Club. You can sign up to ski ($45) or simply donate. Everyone who raises an additional $55 by Feb 16th gets a tee shirt. Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child's illness.

New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management are looking for help spreading the word to folks who have damage to their primary residence or business to reach out to 211 to report the damage. The Conway Scenic Railroad and train tracks to Conway are untouched by the recent flooding, which means the Santa's Express train is still on track for this evening, December 19th! 🎅🏼🚂 Huge shoutout to Conway Scenic Railroad for their incredible generosity—over 450 seats donated to our Angels and Elves family, and we can't wait to create magical memories aboard the Santa's Express. 🌟✨

Meet the shopping coordinator behind the magic of Angels and Elves since 2008 - Pat Heiges! Pat plays a vital role in ensuring every child experiences the joy of Christmas.

Many kiddos are sponsored internally, using generous donations - typically when families are large, applications arrive late, or when unique sizes and gifts are requested. Sometimes, sponsors face challenges in finding specific items or can only afford a portion of a child's wishlist. This is where Pat's magic truly shines!

With passion and tireless dedication, Pat orchestrates the shopping process, to make sure everything runs seamlessly. From pulling items from our inventory to coordinating our shoppers, Pat doesn't rest until every child's wish list is fulfilled.

What sets Pat apart is her infectious positivity and unwavering commitment. Despite the hectic schedule and the many challenges that arise, she's always upbeat and cheerful.
