Do you take advantage of local store sales? Take advantage of local store sales (Check the Expiration date & Price) There’s never a “down” season in any business. There will always be something to do for your business. Such as stocking up on products. I haven’t made the transition to making powdered sugar from scratch yet, so for now I still purchase the store brand. While grocery shopping the other day I came across Greenwise’s clearance section. Boom there it was powdered sugar on sale for $ .89,that’s about a $1.08 difference. Listen every cent matters in every business. 🏆 Throwback Thursday to that time I was invited to be a panelist for Stash Hotel Rewards Program’s Stash Twenty session. 🏆We discussed how I became the Top Enroller for 2023 with over 1.2k+ (in-person) enrollments. Earning the self proclaimed title as the “Stash Queen”. 🏆What is Stash? An international network of Independent Hotels. 🏆What did I do? Enrolled guests into the program, earned points for doing so, and used the points earned to cover my 3-day/2 night stay on Miami Beach for my birthday vacation. 🏆 @stashrewards Stash also sent me a Gold Stash Queen crown, for my birthday. 😆 🏆I’m so happy to see others take my advice, and use it to “beat me”. Throwback Thursday, to when I used to work at restaurants making some delicious meals and creating my own in the mist. 😉 One of my favorites was the Lobster Salad served at the Conrad Miami, because of its plating style, and the sauces and garnishes , ok well the whole plate. 🏨Conrad Miami Hotel (Brickell)🦞Lobster Salad Fresh Lobster Claw (the shell was used for garnish) Mixed greens, Parmesan Crisps, Grapefruit wedges (without the skin), I think there may have been cucumber & shaved shallots , I’m honestly not sure since it’s been so long. I’ll most likely add those additions when I make it again at home. This dish was served with a Mango dressing and Basil oil (I still have the recipes). 🎏Red Snapper Tiradito Served w/Plantain Strips Red Snapper, Yuzu based Sauce, Red Onions, Sweet Potato & Corn, Garnished w/Micro Cilantro 🎏 Seafood Ceviche**Endives, Seared Tuna & Scallops, Mango Chunks, Seaweed, Sesame seeds, & a dash of Sriracha 🦆+🐟Forgotten name (Land & Sea) Scallops, Mango… not sure if that’s Foie Gras or Duck breast. Served w/Caviar Toast. (My personally created dishes): 🥚Deconstructed Eggs Benedict Croissant, Poached Egg, Hollandaise + Aji Amarillo 🥚Peruvian Inspired Benedict, English Muffin, Chorizo Sausage, Hollandaise + Aji Amarillo Sauce Served w/MY personally create Red Skin Potatoes, Peppers, Onions & my secret seasonings 🧂. 🥩Wagyu Beef Tartare (Raw)Seaspice Restaurant Wagyu Beef(shredded), Red Pepper Aoili, Yuzu, Shallots, minced Garlic**, stuffed inside phyllo dough shells.
