NP Kitty Tails
Decided to open our home as a foster home to pregnant or nursing mama cats and their cuddley kitties.
The Hauntings are getting so big!! They get to break out of quarantine soon. They are so stinkin' fun to watch play together!! Kittens make life better!!!
My husband is never short a cuddle buddy with our foster kitties and our personal pets. Tonight Franky has claimed the coveted spot.
I would like to say thank you for the donations towards the Hauntings!! I am blown away by the generosity of so many!! Lisa T., Cheryl and Steve S., Megan M., and Kim Z. thank you from the bottom of my heart. Casper, Mavis, Wednesday, and Pumkpin have been loving playing with their new toys and the snacks are a big hit!! Especially with Mavis!!
I would like to note that the gray tunnel arrived with no tag saying who it was from so if you sent it that for our Hauntings, please know they love it!!
The Hauntings enjoying their new toys. 😉
I let my little girls come back to play with the Hauntings today after weeks of it just being me caring for them. The girls loved it and the kitties loved it more. Wednesday who is a lovebug was in heaven. 😀
Caught Edmund and Autumn in a photo op moment.
Autumn was blue after the Moo-Moos left for the rescue. I was so glad Franky's 2 week quarantine was up on Monday. At first she wasn't thrilled with Franky following her around bit they soon became best friends. They now wrestle all the time together.
Our sweet Little Hauntings will be in quarantine a while longer. These 4 are such sweet kitties and are so much fun to watch play together.
I don't know why folding clothes is so exciting for my foster kitties, but they all like to make it a team sport. Tonight Franky was my clothes folding buddy. He was not as much help as he thought he was. Lol
Our 4 little "Quarantin-ies" love becoming purr-itos!! They just snuggle in, close their eyes, and purr as I rub their ears thru the blankets. Casper looks like he is ready to go on an adventure with Frodo Baggins. Lol
Sweet little Frankenstein is getting a bath today!! He is a very messy eater!!
My Moo-Moos are officially on their way. These 3 are going to make some lucky families very happy. I will miss them so much!!!
Noticed Ope was sucking on my sweater and making biscuits this morning. Sweet boy!!
My sweet Moo-Moos leave tomorrow for the next stop on their journey to their fur-ever homes. We have had these 3 kitties since they were tiny little 3 weeks old bottle fed kitties. Now they are 15 week old big rambunctious teen kitties. They all 3 have different distint personalities. They will be amazing additions to their new homes!!! I will miss my Moo-Moos so much!!
Otis being a goof
The big kitties were very vocal about being hungry this morning!!
Sundays are for afternoons naps!!! Edmund and Otis are cuddle buddies.
Later this week the Moo-Moos will being leaving for their next stop on their journey to their fur-ever homes. I will miss these 3!! I have had them longer than any litters I have fostered so far and they are such loving, funny kitties. They will make some lucky people awesome companions!!!
Top priority on my to-do list today was to clean out my laundry room to give the Hauntings a place to play that was easy to disinfect. Now they can have the run of most of the room during play time. They are LOVING it!!!
The Little Hauntings are 6 weeks. I love watching as their personalities become more apparent. Casper and Mavis are my little adventurers. They are not afraid to check out something new. Wednesday is super sweet, wants to stay close to me, and when I pick her up she just melts and wants cuddles. Pumpkin is the smallest but loves her food and is always the last one licking the plate.
Cat/kitten fostering, rescuing, advocating, whatever you want to call it is not always full of purrs and cuddles.
It is also diarrhea that never seems to end, feedings thruout the night, more scratches than I can count, baths, endless washing yucky bottoms to prevent butt burns and hair loss, yucky smells, SO MANY YUCKY SMELLS, ointments, meds, shots, etc.
Currently our Little Hauntings are the litter in quarantine and receiving extra care for their ailments. Still spunky, sweet kitties though!!
Franky makes our 35th kitty we have been blessed to care for this year. Before this year, I never even considered fostering. Think on that though.....we have had 35 kittens in our home this year. That's only my house. There are other kitten fosters in our community so that means there have easily been a couple HUNDRED kittens born this year....please spayed and neuter your cats!!!!
Never leave a clothes pile needing folded unsupervised with these 4 around. Uncle Reggie(resident cat) has taught them clean laundry makes the best places to nap.
Sweet chunky Franky
*not available for adoption *
We had a new kitty join our crazy bunch today. Meet Frankenstein, Franky for short. He is approx 4 weeks old and despite hissing a couple times is a super sweet purring machine.
New kitties start their stay with us with a 2 week quarantine from the other kitties to make sure everyone is healthy before they are introduced. They are also dewormed upon arriving and given lots of cuddles from our plethora of kiddos.
