This Sunday, 2nd Annual Peasant Fare supporting North St. Paul Area Food Shelf

Come have a bowl of soup and bread with us to help raise funds for the NSPAFS!

For a suggested donation, you can have a bowl of some freshly made soup to warm your heart and a piece of bread. You will not only be filling your stomach, but the money raised with go to help fill others through the food shelf.

Anyone know someone that’s retired or not working? Someone who would like to meet people serve people in a good way by volunteering?

The North St. Paul Area Food Shelf is looking for men or women that would want to help take donations in on our dock and help get food stocked etc.

Short hours..1-4 hrs or we can flex in the mornings, 9-1p, 1day, 2days, 3days ,4days ,5 days your choice in a week.

Everything in gets weighed and everything that goes out is weighed. Some recycling to do with boxes etc.

Contact the NSP Food Shelf and ask for the manager.

North St. Paul Area Food Shelf is in desperate need of Drivers. A few hours a day, vehicle provided to use to pick up rescue foods from area stores (Target, Whole Foods are a few).

Where: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2499 N Helen St. North St. Paul (across from North High School)

Come support the Food Shelf by having dinner at North St. Paul’s new restaurant, Mac’s! June 19th starting at 4pm to close. You can receive a physical flyer (which is needed for the Food Shelf to get credit), by stopping in at the Foodshelf at 2266 2nd St. N. or by stopping at the NSP foodshelf van at the North Saint Paul Cruzer Car Show on Friday night this week!

This Food Shelf needs help!!! We are in desperate need of the following volunteers:

Drivers for 2-3 hours in the morning for pickups at local stores

Sorters from 9-1 Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. you will look through the food make sure it is good enough for your neighbors and check dates on things that come in.

Volunteers are that makes this Food Shelf succeed and we are in dire need of them. We are coming into summer so we will end up being busier.

PLEASE if you can find the time to help out it would be greatly appreciated!

On Nov. 20th, from 1pm-4pm, the food shelf will be hosting a "Peasant Fare". Come to the N. St. Paul VFW (2438 7th Ave. E. NSP) and for a suggested donation, you will receive a bowl of warm, yummy soup and some bread to enjoy with others in your community.

All of the donations raised will go to keeping the food shelf shelves filled for the upcoming winter season.
