We're barrelling towards Thanksgiving and all of the end-of-year holidays, which means things are extra busy at Ana Bandeira Chocolates in Northampton. We're prepping for all the pies, cookies, brownies, pão de queijo, and cheesecakes that will go out in about 10 days, as well as the multitude of chocolate that we'll be shipping around the country over the next 45 days. With one holiday season already under our belt, we are excited to build on our experience from last year.

We are still hosting weekly Oldtime jams! Every thursday from 5-7:30pm you will find people getting together to play music. Natalie Padilla (https://www.nataliepadillamusic.com/) will be hosting and teaching tunes when she's not out on the road, but we've had a nice group of folks just coming in to hang even without her. We're actively working on expanding opportunities for local musicians and other communities to use our space as a gathering place, so please reach out if you have any ideas or would like to host an event!

Mother's Day is tomorrow!

It's been a minute since the last email... I was in Brazil in early April checking out our new factory store and doing some work at the farm and in production (lots more on that soon). Then in early May I was in Japan for some music work. I just got back and realized that, lo and behold, tomorrow is Mother's Day!

If you (like me) were caught somewhat offguard by the rapid arrival of spring and Mother's Day, then you're in luck! We've got some things to make honoring the mother in your life a bit easier.

• Mother's Day Brunch at the café: Now that it's warm out again, we have our expanded outdoor seating set up and can host more people than ever! Inside, the AC is finally working, so neither you nor our chocolate will have to melt. We also will have a new Whole Grain GF Waffle starting tomorrow, so come in to check that out!

• If you still need that perfect gift: our 6 Bar chocolate tasting box (https://www.anabandeirachocolates.com/product/chocolate-bar-gift-box/221) is a fantastic option and we've plenty in store. You can even get it delivered with same-day local delivery through doordash!

Music @ ABC continues on most Friday nights, I'll be playing with some friends next week and will be back with another update soon to lay out more upcoming events. We also are still hosting Irish sessions and old-time jams on thursday afternoons (5-7:30pm), so come stop in and listen or bring you instrument to join in! Thanks to all who have been participating, we've been having tons of fun!
