The philosophy and tactics of the IWW are described as "revolutionary industrial unionism", with ties to socialist,[6] syndicalist, and anarchist labor movements.
Industrial Workers of the World - Wikipedia The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), nicknamed "Wobblies", is an international labor union founded in Chicago in 1905. The nickname's origin is uncertain.[5] Its ideology combines general unionism with industrial unionism, as it is a general union, subdivided between the various industries whi...

Magónismo — the anarcho-communism of the Regeneración newspaper and the Mexican Liberal Party, both founded by Ricardo Flores Magón with his brothers Enrique and Jesus, plus other radicals — deeply inspired the Mexican Revolution and still inflames revolutionaries today, from Neo-Zapatistas and Oaxaca 2006 insurrectionists to French punk rockers and First People autonomists.

C-Squat is a former squat house located at 155 Avenue C (between 9th and 10th Streets) in the Alphabet City neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City that has been home to musicians, artists and activists, among others. After a fire, it was taken into city ownership in 1978 and squatters moved in during 1989. The building was restored in 2002 and since then it has been legally owned by the occupants. Its ground-floor storefront now houses the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space.
Constructed in 1872, this pre-Old Law Tenement housed a pickle shop, cigar factory, cabinetmaker's workshop,[1] saloon, bookbinder, tailor, and Republican meeting hall.[2] The building was ravaged by a fire and New York City assumed possession in 1978.[3] Some tenants, mainly Latino and black people, stayed on as squatters, running an illegal after-hours club. Six years later, they were evicted. The building then stood empty until 1989 until the current squatters arrived. It has remained occupied.[4]
Journalist and author Robert Neuwirth described the situation that gave birth to many of New York's squats, including C-Squat, in the late 1970s through 1980s, "In the 1970s, scores of landlords walked away from old tenement buildings. Many buildings slid into vacancy and rot. By the 1980s, squatters took over many of the structures in fringe areas such as Alphabet City (Avenues A to D) in the Lower East Side and in certain areas of the Bronx and Brooklyn. They had to fight to stay. The city dispossessed hundreds of squatters, sometimes mounting massive paramilitary attacks on their buildings. In the end, 12 squatter buildings survived, and they outlasted official resistance.

Would you describe the protest as right wing or hard right wing overall or more of an ideological mishmash? Was it really led by actual truckers? Were the protestors mainly truckers, white, male, Evangelical, etc.?
Most of the key organizers and public figures associated with the convoy occupation are involved with a variety of far-right movements, including white supremacist organizations, but the majority of participants probably wouldn’t describe themselves as white supremacists or racists. While there were definitely some isolated displays of hate symbols, like confederate flags, swastikas, and transphobic signs, that wasn’t the overt public image of the majority of the occupation. On the other hand, the Ottawa Police Service received nearly 500 hate crime reports during the occupation, and there were many instances of people being targeted due to their perceived race, or gender, or sexuality by individuals involved in the convoy. What’s concerning is the way far-right organizers used the convoy and occupation as a way to normalize their politics and pull in people in to their networks, and that these acts of violence and hate weren’t rejected by the vast majority of participants.

In the 1990s, libertarian communism began to rearticulate in Chile, and the Anarcho Communist Unification Congress (CUAC) was founded in 1999, which would be the first political organization in this process that sought to establish a specific anarcho-communist organization. The ideological bases of the libertarian political project correspond to libertarian socialism, of anarcho-communist and Marxist roots. At the theoretical level, it is a movement that ascribes to a conception supported by the theory of praxis, based on the Marxist dialectic and with a feminist, anti-imperialist and Latin Americanist approach to historical-social processes. Politically, the strategy of democratic rupture is sustained to overcome the neo-liberal model, based on a deep democratization of society and overcoming their dictatorial heritage.
