Last weekend I was a proud sponsor for at their annual golf outing. I had a great foursome of Richard, and Paul that I was able to golf with. We had beautiful weather and had an awesome time golfing.

I met up with my amazing group the Birmingham Legacy Builders today. It is always a great time when we get together.

I had the pleasure of being a sponsor of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing today. My fabulous foursome of and killed it on the course and took home 1st Place! 🏆

Natalie and her son Shawn participated in Farm Bureau’s Volunteer Day. They went to Gleaners Food Bank and helped to pack over 17,000 lbs of food that will get distributed to families in need across the Metro-Detroit area. If you would like to help out they are always looking for volunteers with their huge operation of getting food distributed to over 600 different agencies in the area every week.

The 8th Grade students at Guardian Lutheran School in Dearborn wrote essays for the 54th annual Farm Bureau Insurance America & Me Contest. They wrote on the topic of “My Michigan Hero” and the top three essays at the school are
1st- Lily Farley
2nd- Hailey Faith
3rd- Lily Ponto
Lily has been entered into the statewide competition the winners will be announced on May 17th!

This morning I had the opportunity to volunteer at Forgotten Harvest’s warehouse. We packed up food to go out to local charities for families in need. If you don’t know about Forgotten Harvest they donate 144,000 lbs food a day to local charities that are able to hand it out to people their area. If you get the opportunity to volunteer for them DO IT! If you don’t have the time but want to support their cause they are always in need of donations.

The City of Northville has a two-week period after Christmas, where plain Christmas trees (no decorations or wrapping) can be recycled if left by the curb on your regular trash pick-up day. After that period, trees along with wreaths, roping and garland will be collected as trash.
