Thank you to Taylor Community Library for hosting me this afternoon. We painted coneflowers with watercolors! Here’s my half-done painting!
These showed up in my memories today.
I did these at Mott Community College, right after High School. So these are from the 2004-2007 years.
Thanks for having me last night Waterford Township Public Library for glass anime painting with acrylic for teens! We had a lovely time. 😊 I enjoyed our conversations and I think our project sparked excitement because they’ve seen it done on TikTok!
Okay, I've added a signup form for monthly emails from me on my website: https://forms.gle/beXvs3vrWUg873DUA
These emails won't be fancy at all but if you would like to see what's coming up each month and whether you can register for it or not, I'll send a simple list!
Signup to receive a monthly email about upcoming events It won't be anything fancy :)

Acrylic glass painting I completed recently at the Auburn Hills Public Library! If I did this picture again, I wouldn’t use the sharpie in the sky. 🧐🎨🖌️
In the past year, I’ve done a couple of Teen Anime Acrylic Glass Painting classes, but the subject doesn’t have to be anime! It can be favorite video game and cartoon characters too.
Auburn Hills Public Library thank you for having me!
Thank you to the Romeo District Library for having me tonight to share how to use oil pastels! I hope everyone had a wonderful time. We drew a tropical beach scene. 🌴🏝️☁️🌊 Romeo District Library

People really enjoy painting classes, whether they’re with acrylic or watercolor paints! I teach step-by-step while encouraging attendees to go easy on themselves, relax and experiment! It’s a pressure-less environment and we have fun! Want to host a painting class at your library or organization? We can do just about anything (there’s a bit of drawing before painting and I have light boxes for tracing for people who don’t feel comfortable freehand drawing! Send me an email: [email protected].
Thank you so much to everyone at Waterford Township Library!!! I had fun, and I hope participants did too, painting Cardinals with watercolor!

Started a little teeny tiny painting for our Teen program coming up at NDL. I’m not running it, was just asked by our awesome teen librarian to do an example. I’ll share the finished painting once I’m done!
Teens had a great time painting anime characters while watching anime last night at the Northville District Library! We used acrylic paint, sharpies, and fun frames!
Thank you for having me last night!! We had a great time painting cardinals with watercolors!
I somehow missed this painting class from last month:
Teen Glass Painting. We painted favorite anime characters using acrylic paint, at Baldwin Public Library!
I will have 18 total painting classes for this year! That's the most I've ever done in one year.
Thank you to every library that has welcomed and hosted me, and asked me back to finish out the year. I'm really grateful that I've had the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge for painting, especially watercolor and acrylic.
We've also done some drawing, and those have been incredibly fun to teach too.
I'm really excited for my upcoming classes and have been scheduling some for early 2024 as well! :)
Two watercolor painting classes this week. Sunflowers are such a pretty and happy fall flower!

An admirer of the sea, painter Hachirô Nakagawa specialized in painting landscapes in a romantic academic manner, as seen in today's "Morning on the River," painted in 1904.
Created with meticulous brushstrokes, Nakagawa's masterful use of light and shade brings an ethereal quality to the scene, creating a sense of calm and tranquility. Enjoy! ✨
