It's that time again on Saturday, June 15th - another work day! We are making great progress on cleaning out our construction and storage area, but it's a BIG place! Would love any and all help! We will start at 10am - come when you can for as long as you can. If you would like scrap wood and/or can make a trip to the dump for us, please bring your truck. Grubby clothes and work gloves are recommended. We do have jobs for those who cannot lift, and masks for those who want them (it's pretty dusty down there). Lunch is on us!

Have you met my good friend Maria? Well, we don't have any performers named Maria, but we will be singing "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story at this year's Toast to Broadway - as well as 23 other Broadway greats! Stay tuned to meet this year's cast!

Oh, and did we mention that tickets will not be sold at the door? Get em now while you can - on sale until June 1st!

Have you sent in your audition video for 9 to 5? Just record yourself singing your best song and send it to Director Dusty Davidson at [email protected]. videos must be received by Friday 5/17 to be considered for the show!

And once you have sent off your video, dig out those work gloves and get ready to join us on Saturday 5/18 for a big clean out day! We will start at 10 and work until who knows? Come when you can; stay as long as you can - donuts and lunch for volunteers is on us!

As many of you know, NTCI rents a space at the theater building that we use to store sets, furniture, large props, and construction equipment. Unfortunately, we are running out of space, and we have noticed that some our stored materials are no longer usable and/or safe due to age, overuse, etc...

On Saturday, May 18th from 10am-?, we will be cleaning this area to be sure the space is safe, clean, and accessible. We won't lie - this will be a dirty job with lots of heavy lifting, but we also need folks who can sort, organize, sweep, and more. We will provide masks for anyone who wants protection from the dust and dirt!

Please consider joining us for this important work day - work/grubby clothes are a must, as are gloves. We may need to make trips to the dump or other locations, so if anyone has a truck or trailer, that would be appreciated. Please be sure to use the Maple Street door where the ramp is located, as there is an event using the lobby and theater.

Donuts and lunch for our volunteers are on us! See you Saturday!

Special announcement - due to unforeseen circumstances, NTCI is announcing a change in our current season. On July 26, 27, & 28th, NTCI will present 9 to 5 the Musical, rather than the previously scheduled Anything Goes.

In order to be sure everyone has a chance to be a part of this musical, we are asking for audition tapes! Please record a video of you singing a song that really shows off your voice and send it our Director - Dusty Davidson at [email protected]. Hurry - videos must be received by 6pm on Friday, May 17th!

(Please note that anyone who previously auditioned for Anything Goes does not need to send in a new video.)

Hello! Saturday is a busy day! Auditions for Anything Goes, our summer musical. Check out our other posts for information. We are also going to be cleaning out a couple of areas at the theater. Not a lot of big items to move, but need to do some organization, some filing and inventory, a bit of cleaning. If you are available, stop by the theater any time from 10am onward. We will be in Room 106 - hope to see you!

Oh, and mark your calendars - on Saturday, May 18th, we will be doing a MAJOR cleanup of our basement storage/construction area. Work gloves, grubby clothes are a must - and we will likely be throwing a lot of stuff out - so if you have a truck you can haul to the dump, that would be great! Same time - 10 am until whenever!

Auditions for A Toast to Broadway V (performance will be June 8, 2024) will be held on Friday April 19th 6-8pm and Saturday April 20th 10am-1pm. This is a fundraising cabaret and is a lot of fun!

We will be casting 6 & 6 - that is, 6 female-presenting performers and 6 male-presenting performers.

Please come prepared to sing a Broadway show tune to a backing track. We will have most backing tracks available, or bring your own. Very little dance is required for this show - there will not be dance auditions.

Since alcohol is served at this performance, performers must be at least 16 years of age.

Tonight we had our performance adjudicated by the Theatre Association of NYS (TANYS) and it went very, very well! The adjudicator was impressed with the set, the lights, the costumes, the music, and of course the ACTING!! Don't miss your last chance to see this show - tomorrow at 2:00pm!!

TOMORROW is the first opportunity to see Clue! Show time is 7pm. The doors open at 6:30pm. There is no intermission in this show. We will be selling candy and bottles of water in the lobby prior to the show. For this show, you may bring these into the theater.
